In my table Nomination, the following columns are there Key, KeyType, SourceKey. I want to add an augmented attribute called SourceKeyType with the following logic : For each record in Nomination, I need to find its SourceKey and find the KeyType Corresponds to that SourceKey. For example :Key KeyType SourceKey 1 GOM 2 2 TRA NULL  After defining augemented attribute  Key KeyType SourceKey SourceKeyType 1 GOM 2 TRA 2 TRA NULL NULL  How to model the PQL?

Unfortunately, despite my strong dedication to completing the program successfully, I have encountered some challenges that prevented me from obtaining the certification. My first attempt at the business assessment was disrupted due to an unexpected technical issue during the exam, which caused me to lose that opportunity. In my second attempt, I unfortunately did not pass the test. As a result, I currently remain uncertified, which is disheartening given the effort I have invested throughout the program.WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW ?

I’m encountering a refresh/dependency issue with a cascading dropdown setup in Celonis Studio. I have a bar chart histogram where the user selects: Dropdown #1 (Date field): “Ordered Date” or “Submit Date” Dropdown #2 (Time interval): Days / Weeks / Months / Quarter / Years The Bar Chart buckets the selected date field by the selected interval. Current logic / dependency chain:Dropdown #1 stores the selected date column PQL into: ai_purchase_analysis_histogram_dd Dropdown #2 is a dependent control: It uses ${ai_purchase_analysis_histogram_dd.pql} for its data. It stores the PQL into: graphtimeinterval Bar chart dimension uses: ${graphtimeinterval.pql}The issueThe chart updates when:I change Dropdown #1 then Dropdown #2 I chagne dropdown 2 onlyBut the chart does NOT update when:I change Dropdown #1 only (Ordered Date ↔ Submit Date)So it seems the chart only refreshes when graphtimeinterval changes, not when the upstream dropdown (ai_purchase_analysis_histogram_dd) changes, even thou

Hi everyone,I am currently working on a Bachelor's thesis on Object-Centric Process Mining (OCPM) using Celonis (academic license). For my analysis, I am uploading the publicly available OCEL 2.0 P2P simulation log (https://www.ocel-standard.org/event-logs/simulations/p2p/) into the Celonis OCDM using the provisional upload procedure via splitter.py. This procedure generates SQL files per object and event type, which are then inserted as transformations in the Objects & Events feature. We have a Celonis view with KPIs defined in the Knowledge Model. These KPIs use time-based filters with variables like datefrom and dateto inside the PQL-code.For example:"o_celonis_VendorInvoiceItem"."CreationTime" NOT BETWEEN {d '${datefrom}'} AND ADD_DAYS({d '${dateto}'}, 1)and elsewhere in the same KPI:"el_custom_SalesOrderItem"."TIMESTAMP" BETWEEN {d '${datefrom}'} AND ADD_DAYS({d '${dateto}'}, 1) When exporting this view to Excel via Action Flows, the Get Rows module lets me reference the Knowledge Model, but I cannot pass values for these variables.Using the Data Model instead allows variable injection in PQL, but then I lose access to predefined KPIs and calculated attributes, resulting in very complex, hard-to-maintain code.Question:Is there a way to dynamically set the variables of Knowledge Model KPIs when using Action Flows?

Hello community, I have seen that some features are not working perfectly in the Studo Analysis and there are a lot of migration tool available from Studio Analysis to Views. Is there known the future of Studio Analysis? We have quite some use cases still in this older technology and I would like to assess the urge for migration. Thanks a lot.Jan

Is there a way to copy an existing asset to a blank tab on another asset within the same package?Context: Separate assets were created vs tabs but want to combine into the same asset so the filtering is carried out through all tabs. Will I have to recreate the “separate” assets within the new tab?

“Managing existing users” page (https://docs.celonis.com/en/managing-existing-users.html) is outdated.It is possible to lock users with the “User locking policy” setting but I see no option to unlock them.The only bypass I found was to remove users then to reinvite them. 

I want to calculate cumulative sum for column ‘Net Weight’ by Year . Hi guys!I feel kind of stupid to ask this kind of question but I can’t find a way to show the current year (currenly “2026”) in a chart title or column header.In the studio it was easy:I created a variable as “static value” type and used thePQL “YEAR(TODAY())”.In my chart I added the result with a syntax like“Target Achievement (Year <%=current_year%>)” Now in the views I can’t use PQL to populate a variable.I can calculate the year in a KPI - but I can’t use that in a title or column header. What am I missing??I need this variable to be populated automatically, not hardcoded or assigned manually!Thank you guys,br Florian

Hello everyone,When a filter is applied (e.g., for a specific source system or company code), other filters still display values outside the selected scope with 0 values.Is there a way to hide these values completely instead of showing them as 0?

I understand that, in Data - Data Integration - Data Models I need to select the respective Data Model, select the Calendar tab, toggle on the “Use calendar options” on, select “Weekday calendar and then select working day and enter start- and end-time for them.My question/concern relates to the information that times are in UTC. This could be an issue, since activity timestamps in the activity table within this model are all in AET/AEDT. How do I deal with this?I look forward to hearing from you. Currently, I am doing the “Introduction to Studio Assets” . Everything worked fine, until now. During the creation of a process copilot, described here: https://academy.celonis.com/learn/course/introduction-to-studio-assets/introduction-to-studio-assets/introduction-to-studio-assets?client=partner&page=11 I ran into a problem.I activated the AI, started creating a process copilot (aas described in the training, see link) and finished step 1 “AI instructions”  (selecting the knowledge model and the task as described). Now I’m in step 2 “Knowledge Input”. The training says that I have to select a metric. So I clicked on “add metric” and tried desparately to select one. Now, according to the video, a list of metrics should appear. But this does not happen. I see no list of metrics and therefore I cannot select one! What can I do to finish the “Introduction to Studio Assets”?

We have extended several of the Celonis Catalog perspectives. As a result, we now have Data Model Loads for both the original perspective (e.g., perspective_celonis_AccountsPayable) and our customized version (perspective_custom_AccountsPayableExtended).For our operational use, we only need the extended version. Therefore, loading the original Celonis perspective is unnecessary. However, these automatically created Data Model Loads cannot be set to Enabled = false.Question:How can I deactivate or exclude the automatically generated Data Model Load for the standard Celonis perspective within the ocpm-data-job—without deleting the entire perspective?Any guidance or best practices would be appreciated.

Working with a dataframe activity table in Python I export the file in parquet format for efficiency reasons. However, when I load the file in Celonis it doesn't recognise the timestamp in the proper format but as a string. Can anyone tell me why this error is happening? Thank you very much. Thanks a lot.

Is it possible to embed an image (customer logo) in an Action Flow Outlook email body?I read the related topic “Action Flow-Screenshot of an analysis as image in a mail body” but that thread has been inactive for ~ 1yr and it does not appear it was successful. The Outlook module also has its own nuances to it (text body content vs html...).Thanks

For each process area (P2P, AP, AR), we have separate data pools where we extract, transform, and load the respective data models.In the AP area, we already use a dedicated Central Extraction Pool, which only handles the extraction of raw tables. The actual AP data pool then receives these extracted tables and performs the transformations.Now, we want to extend this concept gradually to other areas. For example, we plan to stop extracting the CDPOS table in the Purchasing Pool and instead consume it from the Central Pool. This step-by-step migration should help us reduce redundancy and improve maintainability.However, I have a specific question regarding this setup: If I start consuming tables from the Central Pool in the Purchasing Pool (e.g., CDPOS), what happens to other tables like EKKO, which are still being extracted directly in the Purchasing Pool?Will my transformations in the Purchasing Pool use the l

Hi everyone, We have several ABC Classifications that we need to implement in Celonis and I’m simply curious:Why is the ABC classification resulting in a 1, 2, 3 ranking? I’m ending up having to convert to string and remap the values for each classification so that it makes sense for the users and while it’s not a huge issue, I think it would be easier if the function just resulted in A, B, C directly. Is it for efficiency by using integers?  Or does this allow for some further analysis that I’m not seeing at the moment maybe? Best regards,Benjamin

Hello everyone, 👋I’m building an overlay view to show case details, using number as a variable.Currently, the overlay view has a predefined filter like this:FILTER "sc_req_item"."number" = '${number}'; However, I’d like to make the overlay more dynamic — for example, use another variable ${case_table} to replace "sc_req_item" (or even "sc_req_item"."number") so that the same detail view can work for multiple case types, such as Requests, Request Items, and Tasks. Has anyone successfully used a variable for table or column names in a FILTER statement (or found another way to make one detail page work dynamically across multiple case tables)?Any insights or workarounds would be really appreciated! 🙏 Thanks!BR,Xiangxiang

Hello everyone, I’m trying to use Action Flow to trigger chained data jobs, meaning job A is executed, once it’s done job B is executed, once it’s done job C is executed. Ideally, I would like to launch Data Model Schedule from Action Flow, but I’m only able to launch data jobs and load data model. What I’ve done so far is: 1. Creating json file with all my jobs ID (A,B,C) - Parse Json Module2. Creating a POST request using API Celonis Key, to access data pool and launch jobs, load data model -    HTTP Make a request Module3. Using Iterator module to repeat step 2 for all job IDThe issue I’m facing is, job A need to be completed before launching job B and same for job B and C (this is what I’m calling chained data jobs). Configuring a Sleep in the iterator loop greater than the running time of my jobs is working, but not optimized. My question is: Do you know if there is a way to trigger chained data jobs in Action Flow, meaning triggering Data Model Schedule or launching several jobs
