Process Analysis

Hi everyone, I’m looking for advice on how to track and display historical KPIs in Celonis so the values are not overwritten as source data changes over time. Example:I want to track the % of maintenance tariff codes for purchase order items (i.e., EKPO.BEST_STAWN filled vs. all items). Some of my KPIs also use relationships between EKPO, MARA, and LFA1.I need to calculate and store these KPIs in monthly intervals—to know exactly what the maintenance value was for each month in the past, not just recalculate it on current data. 1 What’s the best way in Celonis to store unchangeable monthly KPI values?2 Is it better to use Automated Table Snapshots (copy/freeze tables) or KPI Snapshotting (export results), or something else?3 If table snapshots are best, should I build them in the backend (SQL/jobs) or can I do it inside Celonis using Action Flows or some built-in module? Thanks!

Hi everybody,I’m hoping to get some help/ additional information from you.I intend to start using the Weekday calendar option in order to get more precise throughput times in Celonis Studio. I understand that, in Data - Data Integration - Data Models I need to select the respective Data Model, select the Calendar tab, toggle on the “Use calendar options” on, select “Weekday calendar and then select working day and enter start- and end-time for them.My question/concern relates to the information that times are in UTC. This could be an issue, since activity timestamps in the activity table within this model are all in AET/AEDT. How do I deal with this?I look forward to hearing from you. Hey, I am curently working on creating a dashboard for employees as a view where they can simultanously write back to each line in a custom “comment”-column. Basically the inline editing function from the new Views.Sadly I want to do this for a rather large data model.  Is there a way to have inline editing or something similiar for bigger tables that exceed 30M Rows? Or can I put some sort of filter on that table in the front end to minimize the rows below 30M. Or does it have to be in the back end? Thank you!

Hi, i have a Bar chart with the time axis on the x-axis and on the y axis how much the money was. Is there a way to break down the y axis graph into the specific vendor_names, there are around ten. How could i do it in a view.  Thanks in advance

I would like to create a KPI to count the cases of the previous month do a dropdown but I keep getting a message that "The aggregation function MAX cannot be used together with a dimension function input. I have a Knowledge Model, and I am not sure how do I import that knowledge model data into Celonis Forms. I am only getting options for UI aspects like text, table, numbers, etc .Please someone say how to do it ?

I am trying to build a benchmarking view so users can compare two different configurations of filters applied to the process. These filters can have different nature: process filters using process explorer, business attributes with dropdown components, etc.I already achieved this in the past using legacy views. I just created an aux view that I embedded twice in a parent view, making sure that the filters did not propagate from one to the other. This was super helpful, since the embedded views even had an upper panel that showed what filters were applied in each benchmarking side. As you can see, no variables were being used.I am now trying to build the same thing in the enhanced views, but I am not able to do it since the embedded views option is not available anymore. I did an attempt using modules, even with different knowledge models, but it did not work as expected.Is there a way to achieve this? Thanks

Hello Celonis community,I’m building a new view and I need to set-up a line chart with multiple lines. Basically, calculating the same value but for different types and plotting them in differently colored lines.In the analysis set-up I used to duplicate the metric for each type and force filter within the PQL metric for the specific type. Now, with the view set-up we can plot only one line, sicne we cannot add multiple Y-axis.Is there a new way (ex. like the “hue” attribute in seaborn library for python) to do this? Or a tip workaround to be able to do it ?

I have successfully set up an Action Flow to output my Celonis Query in an Outlook 365 email. I use The Celonis Query Data module  → CSV module (create CSV) → Tools module to compose a String for the CSV file to be inserted as a file attachment in Outlook → MS 365 Email Outlook module to Create and Send an email. (see image below).This all works great and we filter to output specific customer data. Today, we manually fill in the customer email contact info.However, we would like to use the Customer Contact data from the Query (name/email_address) to automatically populate the MS 365 Email Recipient. I have observed that the Tools module is limiting what data flows into the Outlook module and within the Outlook module I do not have access to all of the individual Data values from the Celonis Query.When I remove the Tools module, all of the Celonis Query Data module data is readily available for use in the Microsoft 365 Email Outlook module. Hello everyone,When a filter is applied (e.g., for a specific source system or company code), other filters still display values outside the selected scope with 0 values.Is there a way to hide these values completely instead of showing them as 0?

PROCESS FLOWNeed some assistance, I have a CaseID, Activity and Timestamp. I need to get all the cases where the activity flow is A to B to C. (NOTE: the activities don't have to be directly followed by) I cannot use MATCH_PROCESS_REGEX or any other commads. Hi guys!I feel kind of stupid to ask this kind of question but I can’t find a way to show the current year (currenly “2026”) in a chart title or column header.In the studio it was easy:I created a variable as “static value” type and used thePQL “YEAR(TODAY())”.In my chart I added the result with a syntax like“Target Achievement (Year <%=current_year%>)” Now in the views I can’t use PQL to populate a variable.I can calculate the year in a KPI - but I can’t use that in a title or column header. What am I missing??I need this variable to be populated automatically, not hardcoded or assigned manually!Thank you guys,br Florian

Has anyone experienced this issue with the model-first approach?We’ve connected to CPM and mapped the CPM events to the corresponding events in the event log. However, after completing the mapping, PAM gets stuck in perpetual loading.To reduce data volume, we applied global filters in KM for:Cleared documents only Latest 365 days based on document dateThe issue still persists. Has anyone faced a similar, and what steps did you take to resolve it?
