Process Analysis

Hey, I am curently working on creating a dashboard for employees as a view where they can simultanously write back to each line in a custom “comment”-column. Basically the inline editing function from the new Views.Sadly I want to do this for a rather large data model.  Is there a way to have inline editing or something similiar for bigger tables that exceed 30M Rows? Or can I put some sort of filter on that table in the front end to minimize the rows below 30M. Or does it have to be in the back end? Thank you!

Good morning,I need to create a date filter for the start date on a graph, and the date is a user input, so I create a Date Picker as input box and save it as a variable.I struggle with the PQL in my graph FILTER PQL statement:FILTER “table”.”datecolumn” >= {d ‘${my_start_date_variable}’} But I get this error message  How do I adjust my PQL to get the date format correct? The date picker has a standard format that cannot be changed. I also tried this, and it does not work:FILTER “table”.”datecolumn” >= ({d '${my_start_date_variable}'}, FORMAT ( '%Y-%m-%d')) Any assistance will be appreciated.  Thank you,Denise

Hi Team, I used Get Rows and added column names. Then created a Text Aggregator but i can;t see the columns created in the Get Rows, can anyone help me on this.  I need my column name like  “ 4.Invoice ID “ but i got only the Total number of bundles and Bundle Order Position. I tried publishing, ran only get row, re-loaded, even logout and retired.

I have a usecase in which I want to create an object-centric datamodel. According to the linked video below, it is possible to create events based on the attribute of an event (e.g. the event is order, but there are orders in different domains, e.g. games, clothing, …. which is saved as an attribute of this event). Populating this category as the event is possible in a simple case-centric example like explained in the video, but currently this seems impossible for object-centric models? Hello everyone,I want to connect a whole dashboard via profile view to another dashboard. The connection is EKKO.EKGRP → the profile view dashboard will be filtered according to the purchasing group EKKO.EKGRP - so that works fine. My question is whether it is possible to map further criteria to be synced automatically with the profile view. In my case, the sync filter functionality standalone does not work as the time dimension e.g. in dashboard 1 != dashboard 2. So in case, I have selected the year 2025 in dashboard 1 (Base _CEL_P2P_ACITIVITIES.EVENTTIME) - the sync filter does not work as the time dimension in dashboard 2 (CUSTOMIZEDTABLE.ERDAT) is not the same. Is this somehow possible? The profile view which I have connected also contains a filter bar which is not accessible when connecting it. Hi all,I’d appreciate your help with creating a stacked bar chart.In my dataset I have cases which are generated due to 1-4 issues. I have Error_count (type INT) and Product (type STRING) as case attributes and have a KPI defined for case count.I’ve selected the component Stacked bar chart. I’ve selected Count of cases as the first stack, while Error count is a dimension.How do I stack the chart per product? Hi team,I have an issue with the Throughput Time Explorer in one of our Views. When I add it to a existing or New Tab, I get and error:Throughput Time Explorer [id:  ...]: Syntax error near [FIRST] after reading [“] at line 3. Hello Community, maybe I am just blind and didn’t find it yet in the documentation, but could it be that there isn’t any possibility to determine if there is a number in a specific pattern?I’ve got a column “unit” which got values like ‘A123’ and ‘AB12’ - I need to filter out every unit which got no number on second position.Like in regex, I can do: ^(.)\d to get if the second character of my string is a number.SQL Patindex also can do very basic capturing groups like %[0-9]%  - which will give me 2 if the first number is on second place. At the moment I am doing this with this PQL:TO_INT( SUBSTRING("TA_MR_PKC_EVENT"."BEARBEITENDE_ORGA",1,1))Which results in NULL if the second position isn’t a number - I can work with that, I am totally fine about it -  but I am a little bit curious if there is an more elegant way in doing this. Best regards,Fabian

Hi,I have a defined KPI in my knowledge model to calculate the median throughput time for my process: MEDIAN (CALC_THROUGHPUT ( CASE_START TO CASE_END , REMAP_TIMESTAMPS ( "CONSUMER_APR_ACTIVITY_TABLE"."EVENT_DATE" , DAYS ) ))I’d like to be able to compare median throughput times for all cases and only for cases which include a certain activity (for example: PENDING). I’d like to use either a table or a bar chart for this comparison.What would be the best way to achieve that, considering that table filters apply on all columns? Using Intelligence API, how to get to the pql statement behind the filter

Hello,I’ve just finished the OCPM training. In there you create objects with multiple object to object relationships and events with multiple object to event relationsships. So e.g. the object “Expense” has a relationship to the “Report” object and the event “Approve Report” has multiple relationsships, e.g. to the object “Expense” and “Report”. The resulting Process Explorer can be seen in the right picture. As another test, I’ve duplicated the events and deleted all but one event to object relationsships. So each event has only one relationsship to one object. When displaying a Process Explorer with this Event Logs (see left picture), I get the same result as with multiple event to object relationsships. Also when filtering on tables with data from the source systems, i get the same filtered results on each of the Process Explorers.Am I missing something or what are the benefits of multiple event to object relationships? 

Hi everyone, We have several ABC Classifications that we need to implement in Celonis and I’m simply curious:Why is the ABC classification resulting in a 1, 2, 3 ranking? I’m ending up having to convert to string and remap the values for each classification so that it makes sense for the users and while it’s not a huge issue, I think it would be easier if the function just resulted in A, B, C directly. Is it for efficiency by using integers?  Or does this allow for some further analysis that I’m not seeing at the moment maybe? Best regards,Benjamin

Hello everyone, 👋I’m building an overlay view to show case details, using number as a variable.Currently, the overlay view has a predefined filter like this:FILTER "sc_req_item"."number" = '${number}'; However, I’d like to make the overlay more dynamic — for example, use another variable ${case_table} to replace "sc_req_item" (or even "sc_req_item"."number") so that the same detail view can work for multiple case types, such as Requests, Request Items, and Tasks. Has anyone successfully used a variable for table or column names in a FILTER statement (or found another way to make one detail page work dynamically across multiple case tables)?Any insights or workarounds would be really appreciated! 🙏 Thanks!BR,Xiangxiang

Hello, I have an issue with a large number of Action Flow connections being saved under every analyst’s account, and wonder if it is possible to remove them, so that every analyst will only have 1 connection (via their API key) associated with the Action Flows. If it is unclear what I mean, under some Action Flow module (e.g. Query Data), there is a list of connections that you can use to get the module working, which I am trying to delete and establish only 1.  

Hi everyone,I’m using the Grouped Column chart in Celonis Views, and I noticed that the data label position (currently displayed in the center of each bar) can’t be changed to the top or outside end — unlike in Analysis charts, where this option is available under formatting.Can anyone confirm if the label positioning feature is planned for a future Views release, or if it’s already available in any recent update?I reviewed the documentation below but couldn’t find a clear mention for Views specifically: Analysis — Charts and Tables — Settings

Hi everyone,I'm currently working on a use case in Celonis and could use some help with a PQL rule I'm trying to build.I have a table called HOTEL that contains travel records, each with a start date and end date. I want to validate that every single day within the travel period is marked with a "J" in a calendar table called CALENDAR.For each travel record in HOTEL, I want to:Iterate over all dates between STARTDATUM and ENDDATUM. Check if the corresponding calendar entry for each date has the value "J". If any date within the range does not have "J", I want to flag it as an error.Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem in a pql formula as a KPI?Thanks in advance 🙌Niels

Hi    We are seeing a strange issue where we are using the exact same formula as in Analysis for a KPI, however the data on excel generated by action flow is about 2% different from that on the analysis sheet. Has anyone encountered similar situation and what was the resolution?
