Configuration Management for Process Flow in Celonis by Gui or flat files

Current State:Our Celonis process mining implementation includes configuration settings for process flow and status updates in our data transformation pipeline Currently, only developers can modify these configurations through SQL queries and code changes End users (procurement specialists/buyers) have no way to modify process flow configurations without technical knowledgeRequirement Question: What is the most effective way to enable non-technical end users to update process flow configurations in Celonis without requiring knowledge of SQL, PQL, YAML, or coding?Specifically:What data format should be used for configuration (CSV, Excel, UI form, etc.)? Where should this configuration be stored in the Celonis architecture? How will the configuration files be uploaded/modified by end users? Process flow analysis

PROCESS FLOWNeed some assistance, I have a CaseID, Activity and Timestamp. I need to get all the cases where the activity flow is A to B to C. (NOTE: the activities don't have to be directly followed by) I cannot use MATCH_PROCESS_REGEX or any other commads. Cropping the Process Explorer using a component filter

The Process Explorer can have its activities cropped via use of the Crop Selection page filter, however when using the formulas CALC_CROP and CALC_CROP_TO_NULL in its component filter, the Process Explorer fails to crop Can the Process Explorer be cropped via component filter? If yes, what is the correct formula / way to do this?

PAM Event log Error

Hi I, I am configuring my PAM but keep running into these errors.  ErrorSupport Id: faafa039-b13e-47e6-88cd-7e64c7f898e6PQL Error during operation: Events - Count. Repeating the request will always result in error. Fix this by changing the current asset state. If the error persists, please contact support. ErrorThere are event logs in your selection which are no longer available or valid:EL_CUSTOM_OTTPAYMENT__ACTIVITYI created a second eventlog with the required names for my activities and this works when I use it for process explorers and case explorers, but when I try and use it for my PAM I get the error messages. Here are my eventlogs:

Dear Celomates,I would like to add the rework rate as a KPI without using PQL.

I have added an OLAP table with three columns where the Count of activities is compared to the Distinctcount activity for each case key. Please find attached the OLAP table. Besides the OLAP table i would like to show the rework rate as one number by referring to the formula and outcomes of the OLAP table. How can i add a number (without using PQL) where the ration of cases with a YES", as displayed in the OLAP table, is returned as one percentage. Many thanks!

Action Flow - Sending an MS Outlook CSV file automatically to each customer and their varied list of contact email_addresses

As part of the MS Outlook email recipient ‘To list’, the number of email recipients varies by customer and can vary from 1 contact to up to 9 contacts. For those familiar with the term ‘Rolodex’, (customers/contact_names/email_address), I want to automatically sequence through the ‘Rolodex table’ and send one email to each identified customer (based on a flag that is set) and TO: each respective contact for that customer (1 to 9 contacts_email_addresses). What is the best way to address the ‘dynamic list’ of email contacts per customer that need to get set up in the MS Outlook module?I have seen the example in the community of using the Group function in the CSV module, but that example was specific to 1 role (1 recipient in the MS Outlook 365) vs a varied list of contact_email_addresses, depending on the customer.

How to get the timestamp for an specific activity?

Hi community, I have the following challenge that I’m trying to figure out.I need to calculate how many hours were spent on a holiday, since the connection is not through SAP, I cannot use the functions that PQL provides for that.My idea is to get the timestamp related to the last activity that happened on holiday and calculate the throughput time between 9:00 AM and that specific time in order to get how many hours were spent.Example:Activity 1 → Day 1 Activity 2 → Day 2 (holiday) Activity 3 → Day 3 Activity 4 → Day 4In this example let’s suppose activity 2 occurred at 13:00, so in this case I should do the following calculation. 13 - 9 = 4 hours → This is the number of hours that were spent on holiday. Does anyone have a similar experience?

Custom Attribute not available for KPIs

Hi all I have created a simple attribute that calculates a metric I will be averaging out.  And in the table it looks fine. However whenever I try to call it I get an error  Please assist. How to Apply Role-Based Access Filters in Celonis for Users?

In our team, we have different roles assigned to users, such as Junior Buyer and Tactical Buyer. I want to ensure that when they access Celonis, they only see records relevant to their role.We have a mapping between user and their assigned documents (Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, etc.) in a table. Based on their role, users should see only the documents assigned to them.

Get number of instances of object type O1 which is related to n instances of object type O2

I want to write PQL that gives me number of instances of object type O1 which is related to n instances of object type O2. Ex: Number of Purchase Order which is related to 2 instances of payment. There is no 1:N relation between these table. In this scenario, is it still possible to get number of instances of one object based on how many times it is related to other object type?

Extracting Objects and Events in Python

Hi Celonis Community,I’m trying to get a better understanding of what is in the OCPM Catalog. I’m hoping to extract all the objects and events, their attributes, etc. and build out some documentation in the event I need to adopt the OOTB solutions. There doesn’t seem to be an export button or a way to pull out that information. Issue with Many-to-Many (N:N) Relationships in Celonis

Hi everyone,I'm facing an issue with how Celonis handles many-to-many (N:N) relationships. It seems like Celonis treats these relationships as 1:N → 1:N instead of supporting 0:N → 0:N, which leads to missing data when filtering.Example Issue:I have a many-to-many relationship between contracts and assets, modeled with an intermediate table:Contract Asset C1 A2 C2 A1 C3 NULL C4 NULL NULL A3 NULL A4 The issue occurs when I apply a filter like "Asset ≠ A4". Instead of just removing A4, I also lose contracts C3 and C4, which should still be visible since they are not linked to any asset.My Understanding of the Issue:Celonis seems to implicitly treat N:N relationships as 1:N → 1:N, enforcing a strict link between contracts and assets. It does not seem to support a true N:N model, where both sides can have optional (0:N) relationships.Question:Has anyone faced this issue before?Is there a recommended modeling approach to ensure that filtering on assets does not remove u

PQL For distinct activities in a case, happening at the same time.

I have a table, for CaseIDs (1,2,3...) and some Activities (A,B,C….). The activities might be repeated in a case or they can be unique. and a TimeStamp column corresponding to the caseid and activity. i need to write a query where in a case there are 7 distinct activities and all of them must happen in the same timestamp. kindly help me with this.

How to use data pool parameter?

Dear community, I would like to set up a data pool parameter to allow me to switch between test and prod environment? So I would need two global variables for my data jobs:var_data_source: to allow me switch between test schema and prod schema var_table_name: to allow me when creating table to add _test at the end of the table nameI have only found the way to create parameters in EACH data job under transformation and refer to the data pool parameter. Is there a smarter way? I am still using the data integration (not OCPM). Thanks a lot!
