Greetings,is it possible to display custom messages, defined in the python script of the celoxtractor, in the real time log of a extraction (when the extraction gets executed)? We are currently writing debug messages to local logs on the celoxtractor server. Hi Everyone,We work on the Accounts Receivable Usecase and want to include the credit management.Analysing the outcome of the credit checks and understand reasons for credit blocks is the goal.The logs from the credit check results are stored in the Application Logs BALHDR and BALDAT.However, the information in BALDAT is encoded and therefore not directly usable in Celonis.SAP decodes information from BALDAT by the Function Modules BAL_DB_SEARCH ,BAL_DB_LOAD, BAL_LOG_MSG_READ. Did someone come across this use case recently?Do you have any idea to solve this? I appreciate your support.Dan

Hi all, how can I exclude specific dates like bridge days from a throughput time calculation? I am already using REMAP_TIMESTAMPS with calendar specification, but INTERSECT only accepts two arguments and they are already used for factory calendar TFACS and WEEKDAY_CALENDAR. Ideally, I would be able to give INTERSECT a third argument to exclude certain dates and times, but that does not work. Any other ideas or alternatives?

Dear all, I started new DCP project from this month. I installed Process connector and Analyses from App store then modified some of Vertica SQL in transformation, and PQL in the analysis. After some changes, I found that I am not confident which code I modified. Referring to SAP ABAP or Java or some other languages, we normally can use version control tools, like Git, Subversion, that can manage who and when code is committed, which part of code was changed (before/after). Here is the context of this error message (from EMS) when trying to connect to the DB:Extractor has been installed on client premises (Windows Server 2019) with OpenJDK11Target DB is running on Windows 2008 server. We're using Celonis to analyze processes prior to a system (legacy as you can see) migration.The same error message appears in the extractor logs obviously.Any insight on how to fix this problem ?

Hi all, I have an issue with the way that the data in the CDPOS table is stored in S4/HANA.  The issue occurs when an event triggers multiple follow-on events in SAP. For example, changing the company code (BUKRS) on an invoice will update the country code automatically (LAND1) at the same time. The user has only performed one change, but two are reflected in the CDPOS table with the same date, time, change number etc.  When creating the activity in the transformation, I wish to capture the first activity that the user has performed, not the follow-on activity. Is there a way to detect which CDPOS entry is the first activity? Example of CDPOS entry CHNGENR FNAME DATE USER000001 BUKRS 01-01-23 12:00 John Smith000001 LAND1 01-01-23 12:00 John Smith Cheers,Michael

Need to do in PQL, not in backend SQL

The premise is in regards to the process explorer and its behavior when applying different levels of filters:applying process-related filters (flows through, select cases going from A to B) everything works as expected.Applying attribute selections on an activity level, i.e. selecting all activities performed by a single department, process explorer returns all cases where at least one activity within that case abides by the selected filter.Thus it appears that the behavior of the process explorer is as follows:First find all activities that meet the defined conditionSelect all cases that belong to those activitiesvisualize all activities for those cases in the process explorer without filtering the activities that do not meet the criteria. What makes this matter more complex is the following:Standard Process Explorer KPIs (case count, activity count) are calculated based on the latter conditions. Hello everyone,I would like to make a graph where Dimension is a range.Mock Up: I have got a table with an Object ID, a Gross Value and a numeric Attribute A1.I would like to sum up the Gross Value if A1 is bigger than the Dimension and have a range with step of 5 as my graph dimension. The result would look something like the upper right quadrant of 1/x. I tried creating a variable as range, but PQL gives me the error, that the temporary table is not connected.Thanks in advance!

Hello, I wanted to understand the C4C APC storage consumption to view The understanding is that views generally don't consume any data in Celonis or consumption is dependent on the parent. I wanted to understand if the same holds for C4C environments as we are currently noticing that all views created in C4C consume data and some consume more storage than the parent as well. 

The standard ratio count does not work because it takes into account the activities and not the cases.I have tried: filter count (which does not work because it counts activity and not the cases)I tried multiple PU_count and PU_count_distinct (also did not work)I have tried case when (activity = "XX") then count (cases) else 0. (But this is not allowed in Celonis)

We have a celonis instance which as established connection with a SAP testing sandbox. I want to know if we build a data model and then the Analysis using this data currently and later want to use the SAP Production instance data for these analysis, then what steps we need repeat. Does it involve lot of changes OR I can simply go and just update the data source URL (Host and port) in the connections. Please help.

I have tried using PQL transformation but again when I go to process model, mark each file as activity file and then do data load, it is loading multiple file individually. What I can do to combine all this files into one data model and then carry out process mining.

can a Delta load be configured based on string column instead of changing date field

Is it possible to extract the text fields from SAP systems to Celonis EMS? Eg: STXL is a cluster table which stores information about text fields but in LRAW format. Is it possible to convert it during our data extraction process and visualize as string?

Hi all, Is there any standard way to use start and end eventtimes for activities in an activity table so that the duration of activities and connections are displayed properly in the process explorer? The activities table we have has (a.o.) the following columns:Case Key - Activity - Start Eventtime - End Eventtime We could define a custom process explorer KPI that calculates the (avg) duration of the activity, bit this has no impact on the displayed connections and the calculated duration of the connections in the process explorer. E.g. when the number of days between the end eventtimes of two activities is 10 days, this is what is displayed for the connection in the process explorer. But when the second activity has a duration of 2 days, the connection should display 8 days. And the 2 days should display as duration of the activity it self. Is there any standard functionality that can handle this? Best,Marcel 

Hello together, after I changed the password for the SAP User, which is stored at the Data Connection, Data Load Errors occur again and again. The SAP user locks itself again and again. Does anyone else have such a problem and knows how to fix it? The password was maintained under Data Connection.Does the user need to be updated in another place? Best RegardsJonas
