Optionally extract non-populated columns with Oracle Fusion BICC Extractor (2024-08-22) The Oracle Fusion BICC Extractor didn't previously extract columns marked in the metadata as "isPopulate": false (non-populated columns). You can now choose to extract these as well by selecting the new extraction parameter Include Optional Columns during column configuration. When you do, we'll add the optional columns to the display and include them in the extraction by default. This can add a lot of extra columns, so we recommend you also select Customize Column Selection, then go through the updated list of columns and uncheck any that you don't want for your business case. For the extractor instructions, see Oracle Fusion Cloud BICC. The BICC Extractor is in Limited Availability status. To get access as an early adopter, ask your Celonis point of contact. 

Create object types and their transformations from source system tables for object-centric process mining (2024-08-21) Instead of modeling an object type from scratch, you can now choose to create it based on a table in your source system, with columns from the table becoming attributes of the object type. When you use this method, we'll create a preview of the object type where you can select which columns you do and don't want to turn into attributes. You can rename the object and its attributes (by default we use the table and column names). You can also add extra attributes for data in your table or outside it. When you've finished, we'll create the object type, and you can choose to also have us autogenerate the SQL transformation scripts for it. The autogenerated transformation contains the SQL statements that you'll need to populate the object type’s attributes with the data from your source system table. Extend Celonis event types with attributes and relationships for object-centric process mining (2024-08-20) You can now add custom attributes to event types from the Celonis catalog, and create custom event to object relationships using them. The event to object relationships can be to custom object types or to object types from the Celonis catalog. So you can now leverage both the ready-made object types and event types to create customized processes. If you've already created custom event types to replace Celonis event types, consider customizing the equivalent Celonis event types instead. Using the Celonis object types and event types means you don’t need to reproduce attributes, relationships, and transformations that we already created. It also means you'll stay up to date with the requirements for the Celonis apps and features that are built to use our standard objects and events. You can customize app views and logic to incorporate your custom attributes and relationship

Removal of SAP on-premise extraction (OPE) client for data integration (2024-08-20) We removed the SAP on-premise extraction client from the Celonis Platform Download Portal on 2024-08-20. While any OPE instances that are already in use are unaffected, you now won't be able to set up a new SAP extractor or upgrade any existing SAP extractors. From 2024-08-20, you should use our on-premise client (OPC) instead. For information about accessing the OPC, see Installing on-prem clients. Improved augmented attribute creation flow in Studio (2024-08-19) We've improved our augmented attribute creation flow, making it easier to select and configure different data types. Augmented attributes are a Knowledge Model (KM) asset that can be updated in real-time and without the Data Model reloading. By assigning an augmented attribute to a specific table in the Data Model, you can add additional information to the source system. This additional information can then be referenced in your Views, describing your business objects in further detail and generating additional process insights. To learn more about creating and using augmented attributes in your Studio content, see: Augmented attributes.

I need to select every black item in a filter, but when I use the "Select All": every gray disabled items + black items are selected.  I know that the gray ones do not change the report. The idea is to filter the report on a specific way so that I can get some codes in the filter in which I am trying to do this "trick". These codes are the ones in black, and the rest of the codes that have been filtered are the ones in gray.  Once I get to this point, I need to remove every other filter from the report, but maintain the previous black codes filtered. For example, if I want to get the journal entries that contains an entry with the account "xxxxxxx":I need to filter the report by account = "xxxxxxxx".Then I need to filter the report by the "black" journal entry numbers in the Entry Number filter.Finally, I need to remove the Account filter and maintain the black entry numbers in the Entry Number filter. Do you know how to achieve this? I am trying to make a dashboard to identify bottlenecks in the process. I already make use of the Celonis Process Overview page which can identify which activity flows impact the TPT, but it is not sufficient for me to detect the most important activity reworks or activity flows that impact TPT.  What would be effective ways to use Celonis for such application? Is there a way to identify which activity flows impact TPT significantly? E.g. a process flow normally goes through activity A-->B, but if it goes from A-->C-->B it increases TPT by 'x' days. Thanks!

Hi, I am not able to upload excel file which is having around 20 MB with .xlsx extension. My colleague who has same permission is able to upload though. I am wondering why it is happening? Is there any restriction to upload excel file? Thank you

Hi everyone,I'd like to calculate the workDay between two date, considering national holidays (in my case Italy). What is the best method?I was thinking the combination o WORDAYS_BETWEEN and WORKDAY_CALENDAR PQL function, but I really don't know where to find a TFACS calendar for Italy (or a TFACS calendar in .csv that I could edit). Does someone have a solution? Thanks

We are trying to create a dynamic olap table in new views.Requirement is we have 20 columns in a table.in summary olap we need to show only 5 columns.in details olap we show all 20 columns from the same table.currently we have created 2 olaps in new views.the user does not want multiple olaps but needs a solution where there will be a radio button/dropdown with 2 options: summary & details. on clicking any of them the same olap will display 5/20 columns on the same olap.there is no option to show/hide olaps columns based on variables etc. I tried with creating an enhanced variable inside the view & also inside KM.I added a popup button where on changing the button options i set the variable to boolean true & false .Then i set the hide attribute in the table column's yaml code with the boolean variable.Even though the variable is changing on selecting the popup options - i dont see the column hiding/showing accordingly. Its not dynamically changing.

Hello everybody,I have a filter bar in which I have inserted a quick filter component containing quick filters on 9 different Boolean fields.Technically it works fine, but the problem is that the visual rendering is awful as I cannot increase the height of the quick filter component and all labels are truncated and incomprehensible, as in attached screenshot: Is there a way to increase the height of the quick filter component so that the filters can be grouped and displayed on multiple lines? Thanks to everybody who can help me, best regards,Andrea

Is there a way to extract data from image or PDF and relate it with respect to the document number and We need to visit external URL and provide the document number. Each document will have its attachment which can be in PDF/Image format. We need to extract data from PDF/Image and prepare a table of the details (tabular format output) This table needs to be push to backend data model. Overall, we want to extract data from image/PDF relate with the PO Number/Accounting document number and push this data to backend data model.
