Celonis user list data upload with PyCelonis 2.0+ (2.6.0)

Hi everyone, I'm trying to recreate code for uploading celonis user list by using Pycelonis 2.0+ version, and I've got few questions: A) Do you know how to properly update packages in Jupyter Notebook/ML workbench environment? I've always used just "!pip install --upgrade pycelonis", command "!pip show pycelonis | grep Version" show me newest version isntalled (2.6.0 as for today), however when using PyCelonis I still see message about old PyCelonis version: Using command mentioned in the logs itself also don't change nothing (also with '!" added in front). For Celonis guys: it would be good to add it to PyCelonis documentation and maybe changing message text for a working one :) B) When I'm trying to upload file in simplest scenario (no config) I see that data push job is created but cannot be executed successfully, unfortunetly googling error itself doesn't help much (seems to be some old JAVA error) Data push logs: Error itsel

get_data_frame() returns following Error: Exception: Export failed.

I use PyCelonis to get Data as follows: analysis = celonis_manual.analyses.find()sheet = analysis.draft.sheets.find()component = sheet.components.find()df = component.get_data_frame()But sometimes get_data_frame() doesn't work and i get the following Error: Exception: Export failed. Variable preview different from actual value

I've built a simple variable with static value. If I enter in the code editor, it shows a value (like 3.05, that is fine), but if I exit, it shows me NULL, and in the analysis it follows the NULL behaviour, creating lots of messes. I don't understand why it is happening, since if I try to fix it, it shows me the correct value.I can't replace it in the formula of the KPI, since I'm calculating a static QUANTILE value to be compared which every row of a table, if I put it directly in the formula it tells that I can't use aggregation function etc etc...

I'm saving data records sent via an AF with a skill and the module execute process automation skill. The module sends an error message once one field cannot be filled. It should fill it with null and then proceed with the flow. How do I manage this?

The rescheduled date is sometimes null and in some cases there is an entry, hence the whole module should not stop once the date is null.

Converting from LONG VARBINARY to STRING

Good morning, I am looking for a way to convert a BLOB field (i.e. a long varbinary in vertica sql) into a string, in order to capture a hidden information. Is there a way to do this conversion? Using PyCelonis "export_data_frame" with Query got from TableComponent, which uses "variables" & "saved formulas" ?

Hello @All i'm trying to export data from an ready/productive Analysis with pycelonis. My Analysis has a table, from which i got the query (compontent.get_query()). With this query i wanted to export the dataframes (data_model.export_data_frame(query)).I'm getting some errors on all variables and saved formulas.e.g: PQLColumn(name='<%=ZZ_ABC1%>', query='<%=ZZ_GHJ2%>'), Is there an option to use variables & saved formulas in pycelonis export? Display parallel processes in the Process Explorer Single event log

Hi, I am working on a university project. For that, I constructed event logs in such a way that the event logs contain some parallel processes. But Celonis is showing all parallel processes in a linear style. But I want to see all parallel processes in parallel style in Process Explorer. So, can you please help me know how can I modify my event logs or how can I visualize parallel process as parallel in the academic version of Celonis. If you recommend some video tutorials that will be more helpful.

Unknown User Error in Action Flow for USER_NAME()

I want to be able to get the username of someone that executes a skill and update an augmented attribute with the username. In Knowledge Model, I created a KPI with the PQL formula - USER_NAME(). This works fine in the knowledge model and returns the user. However, in action flow when I use Get Rows to get the KPI, it returns Unknown User. Does anyone have an idea why this is the case or perhaps any other idea to achieve what I want?

Can someone help with embedding views via variable?

Hello there,I am trying to embed a view by variable value. Using the explanation on (https://docs.celonis.com/en/views-variables.html) this is the current state. Here I have created the view-variable 'embed_variable' and two separate views with the keys 'embed-test-source' and 'embed-test-source-alternate'. If the value of 'embed_variable' is '1' I want to embed the 'embed-test-source' view just how I want to embed 'embed-test-source-alternate' when the value of the variabe is '2'. I tried to follow the example from Celonis metioned above, so I'm not too sure about what the errors mean. Has anyone experience using this method and can tell me where I went wrong? I would be very grateful.

What are considered to be the 'best in class', currently, Extract, Transform & Load' (ETL) applications, which support Users with the general data preparation activities?

I'd suspect a lot of activities happens outside of Celonis, initially to 'prepare' the data quality, ensuring its reliability and integrity once in Celonis. I'm sure there's a lot of common challenges when uploading into Celonis, and have experienced some myself.

Hi All,Need to apply filter while extracting the data to have rolling month/year data. For example the first day of extraction of data is 01/12/2022 to till now then after a month data should be extracted from 01/01/2023 to till now.

Tried applying the filter statement in one of the filters of table but it didn't support the sql query. Any guidance would be really helpful.
