Coloring bar chart based on selections from a variable.

Hi, I have a following conundrum that I'm trying to resolve. In studio analysis I have a tab in which I have two Button dropdowns. First one is for selecting a categories like company code, business unit, country etc. Based on selection from the first dropdown users can select specific company codes or BUs etc. in the second one (this drop down is a multiple choice one). That selection is stored in a variable which feeds the bar charts. So for example someone is selecting 4 company codes and my chart shows bars for each company code selected for each month. In a basic form all bars are the same color. I would like to color it the way that each selection from second dropdown (i.e each cmpany code) has its own color. I cannot use series palette as user can select from 1 to n number of company codes (or BUs or countries etc.) so the number of colors needs to be automatically adjustable. The original idea was as following - lets create 5 to 10 variables and each would take one value fr

Data Model Best Practices

Hello everyone, I would like to understand what are the best practices when developing a business case.Example the Celonis team built for the company I am in todayA single data model for 4 different fronts. They share the same ERP (SAP), but I find it difficult to maintain and develop new cases and tables because of this.Is it ideal to have a Data Model for each business front? Or is this shared model common among other companies?

I see that there can be more than one activity table in a data modelAre there any examples on how to use this feature and the impact when creating variant components or process explorer in the analyses?I have a need for more than one activity table.Just pointing me toward the right document (detailed) or training module is enough for me to understand when and how to use that. Thanks

How do we populate the benchmarking components with the default value if none is selected in the dropdown button.

I have one Main button dropdown to select dimensions(dimension 1 and dimension 2). There are two other different button dropdowns (First and Secondary Category) to retrieve values from the main Dimension for benchmarking purpose. When I select dimension 1 as main dimension and even before selecting the First Category, the process explorer and the other Single KPIs displays empty. Is there any way to populate default values even before selecting the dimensions. Please see attached for more information.

Is it necessary to schedule Full Extractions and Transformations if I extract only the tables' relevant columns?

Good afternoon, among the best practices suggested by Celonis, there are: Scheduling Full Loads if delta loads are not possible or if source tables' metadata are changed frequently (i.e., a column is added or deleted).Extracting only the relevant columns of the source tables (i..e, those actually used in the transformations). If the relevant columns can't be deleted or changed in the source systems (because, for instance, they are crucial for the business and it would be a disaster to change them for the data recovery!), why should I schedule full extractions to consider metadata changes? Shouldn't I launch them only manually when columns need to be added to the extracted tables? Moreover, if the answer is in the documentation, could you share the link? Thanks and regards,Simone

Difference between extractor builder and extractor

I do not understand the difference between an extractor builder and an extractor. Are both types of data connections? For example, when making a data connection, should I look for a connector and if there is none, use an extractor, or if there is no extractor either, use the extractor builder?

I am working in custom connection and facing an issue with the expiration of the tokens necessary for authentication.

Currently, we are able to create custom extraction within the 'extraction builder' using the GET method. However, we are facing an issue with the expiration of the tokens (Authentication) that we provide for establishing connections. Each token expires after one hour. I wanted to inquire if it is possible to associate an endpoint with the POST method, which would allow us to retrieve a token using the username and password, and then pass it to the specific endpoint before execution. Alternatively, is there a way for us to execute from a Celonis Jupyter Python script to obtain the token and pass it as a parameter for extraction into the Celonis data pool?

How to divide with two calculated rows in an OLAP table?

Hi Celopeers, I want to make a calculation in an OLAP table, where I divide a COUNT value through a sum of COUNT values. To be specific: I want to divide the SUM 1 which consists of all the cases related to a single operation through the SUM 2, which consists of all the cases related to a single operation that are classified as 'NOT CORRECT'. The Sum of Changes is calculated through a COUNT statement. Thanks for your help!

Anything similiar to a VLOOKUP in Celonis? Missing this crucial feature.

Hello everyone, due to the nature of implicit joins in Celonis, I wonder if something like this is possible to do in Celonis FrontEnd. Imagine this: Table EKPO with many purchases of different materials, including their quantity and their price.Table EBAN with many purchase requisitions of materials with their quantity but NO price (planned purchases in the future). I already have created an OLAP with all purchases from EKPO aggregated to the material and the total price for that.I now want a similiar OLAP with all planned purchases (purchase requisitions) from EBAN aggregated on material number. But EBAN has no price. So I wanted to do a VLOOKUP like this: We bought material X multiple times with the price of 10$ and that is shown in EKPO.Now we still have 10 purchase requisitions with a total quantity of 100 of material X that are not a purchase order YET. All these purchase requisitions have NO purchase order since it wasnt created yet. But since we bought material X for 10$, I wan

Hello everyone. I am struggle trying to understand why when i apply a filter to my analysis using Attribute Selection option, the total cases selected is not matching with the values of one graph .

As you can see on the print the cases selected is 211 and the graph is showing 217.
