Hi, I participated in the Process Mining Expert Program last fall and have a fundamental, technical question about transforming data to create the activity table of a process: In the process of Data Engineering, according to the training, the Activity Tables are filled with the process activities using the jobs insert. Thereby the eventtimes have to be considered because in case of equal eventtimes of two process activities the sorting number must be used to achieve the correct activity order. So it is important to know beforehand how the processes look like and which activity follows when, right? Or is it possible to create a data model without filling Activity Tables, in which case the eventtime data conflicts have to be accepted but the process still becomes visible to a certain degree? An answer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Florian

Hi everyone! I am trying to find out if it is possible with Celonis to do calculations based on sentences in comments or notes. I am analysing a process where there is an attribute called "comments", where the operator makes a description of the task he has performed. I want to know if it is possible to analyse this text with some formula, for example, to know which are the most frequently used words.  Thank you!  

What is the best way to create copy of a datapool including all the datajobs

I've extracted all the variants that contains list of activities. In my case their are 648 variants. I need to identify which are the starting and ending activities of process. Can i assume that first activity in each variant is starting activity and last activity in variant is the last process activity that lead to 'Process End'? I've also comp up with query to create statistics between each link of activities as shown below. But i'm not sure how would i identify and calculate stats for 'Process Start' and 'Process End'.

Hello,i have a problem to create a bar chart, where one dimension is the date, and the KPi should be a count of values, which have specific attributes (ends with special characters). I need 2 bars here, one for values which ends on "PV1" and one which end on "PA1".The problem is, that i don't want to count the values which ends to PV1, i want to have the count of value B, if value contains PV1Every two bars per dimension, eg month.thx in advance

Hello, We installed the 2021-08-04_3.5.0_SAP_Extractor_Package.zip package, but unfortunately the extractor server returns the following issue : "unable to find valid certification path to requested target". Do you have any idea on what could cause the issue ? Firewall port to unlock ? Wrong proxy configuration ? Certificate missing ? In the stage of transformation, I run the Vertica SQL script and the output only shows the first 100 rows. But I want to see all rows. Is it possible to do some configuration to see all output rows? Can I export the output? Thanks.

Hi, I am interested in two particular sequences A->B->C and A->C that may have none or multiple occurrences within one case (A ,B and C are activities and the connexion "->" is not necessarily direct).  Important: The activity A is always followed (directly or not) by the activity C. We need to use a PU function where we want to pull up to a key stored in the same table as where we want to do the SUM over (in our case): PU_SUM(DOMAIN_TABLE('table1'.'key1'),'table1'.'field1') However, key1 occurs multiple times in the table, resulting in the sum of field1 being repeated for each occurrence. How can we only get a result once per key? We tried adding DISTINCT but that didn't work...

In our Datamodel every activity can additionally get multiple (0..n) labels. Due to the nature of 0..n relations this cannot be done via activity attributes as we don't know the nessessary amount of columns in forehand. That's why these labels (strings) are stored in a seperate table. Foreign Key is the unique activity ID.  I know how to filter/flag cases with the MATCH_PROCESS function. Here we use the nodenames or another string column, but the column is always part of the activity table. Now I want to do something like:Give me all cases where an activity with the associated label "Greeting" is directily followed by an activity with the associated label "Error". Is it possible to filter cases based on the labels that are stored in a seperate table? 

How do I calculate the working days between two activities with a work calendar from a non SAP system? Hello community, I am having difficulties calculating the number of working days between two activities. As I do not have SAP connected to Celonis, I want to connect a work calendar using another table. I have added an additional table with the following structure. It is linked to the time stamp of the cases. Now I want to sum up the flags of all days between the two activities. However, I only get the timestamps of the activities from the added table (This means I always get two as a result).  I have assumed that this could be due to the link via the timestamps of the two tables. Does anyone have an idea how I could solve this problem or how I can do the calculation in PQL? Basically, I would be interested to know if it is at all possible to integrate a work calendar with a non SAP system? Unfortunately Celonis only suggests a TFACS table? Hi all, I'm currently enrolling Celonis Summer School and I have no experience on PQL neither SQL languages, so I please ask your help. I am trying to write something like a "SUM IF" expression. Basically, when column "_APX_WDCRP_CASES_csv"."ORDER_DATE_MET" = 0, I want to sum "_APX_WDCRP_CASES_csv"."ORDERED_QUANTITY" values.  I already tried to mix CASE WHEN function with SUM but I was not succeeded. I also searched for other functions related with aggregation but could not find one that applied. Many thanks!Guilherme Luz

Hi together, We are facing an issue with the data load since 9th April. We cannot load data from SAP HANA databases anymore. Everything worked till 8.4. We have these issues in different teams (all on eu-1) and for different SAP HANA databases from different hosters. Therefore, it seems that something changed with the driver within Celonis EMS. Error: Unexpected error when creating database connection: Cannot load JDBC driver class 'com.sap.db.jdbc.Driver'(see attachment) Any ideas? Thanks in advance,Clemens

I established the connection with service now.When i tried to install the service request management but i got error sys_audit table is not present.so I check in Extraction part to extract the sys_audit table but i dont have the table.

Hi All,I am looking for filter condition which can filter out records from activity table once specific activity is first time occurred.Tried with REGEX, PU_FIRST but some how this doesn't work.Is there any one applied same kind of filter condition? Below is what I am expecting:Anything after first event 'Approved' is what I wanted to exclude. 🙂

Quick Tip!  For faster run times, move filters from the where clause into the appropriate inner join. The top example is an optimized version of the bottom code. Let me know if you have any other tips or questions!

Hi everyone!I have a doubt about a calculation related to the duration between activities. Normally the CALC THROUGHPUT formula is used to calculate durations between 2 activities.
