i find variant explorer very helpful when start to mine a new process. But it seems to be only available in the old analysis component. i wonder why it is not included in the Views ? what is the alternative function in the future roadmap?

We need to create a dynamic variable in the views as we used to create it in the analysis to hold multiple dimension values (as an example). Since the way of building views has been changed, any idea on how to build this dynamic variable in the new views? Note I tried the "Input Dropdown" component in the new views but the manual entries does not allow multiple variables option. Instead we can only input text values.

Hi, I have recently created a trigger with filter to compare a date field with today. The issue is that this trigger is considering all the rows where this date field is being updated and sending multiple emails (over 100) I just want one email when my model loads. Is there any way to somehow restrict the action flow to only one execution ? 

Is there a possibility to hide KPIs in a line chart. I have a line chart with several KPIs mapped to a time dimension. Now I only want to see only a few KPIs at once, otherwise there is no clarity in the chart. The OLAP table allows to hide KPIs via the eye symbol, in contrast this isnt available for line charts (or any other chart) Please let me know if and how this is possible. Thank you in advance!

In my activities table, I have cases like create incident A B C B A B Now I want to calculate the time difference between create incident and every occurrence of B. Example: (create incident and B (first occurrence), create incident and B(second occurrence), create incident and B(third occurrence)). After that, I want to calculate the overall average of these time intervals.

When I save PQL formulas in the new Studio, they are not assigned to a record as an attribute in the Knowledge Model, but each time as a KPI.  Again, custom records and attributes are not displayed for selection in the new Studio. 

Hi all, is it possible to make a dimension in a OLAP table static. So when I click on another dimension it does not affect the value?

Hello everyone, I'm still quite new to Process Mining and PQL.  How can I create the Column chart of the "Rework Selection" as a standalone component for the dashboard? In my process, there is a process flow (loop) that can occur either 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 times per case. Therefore, on the X-axis, the number of loops should be listed (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5), and on the Y-axis, the frequency of occurrence of each number of loops should be shown.  I tried it with this: https://docs.celonis.com/en/calculations-on-activity-sequences.html   And that works well for an OLAP table, but it only provides me with the count of loops per case and not the count of cases for each loop count (0,1,2,3,4,5). However, I cannot or do not know how to access this OLAP table in another component and sum up the counts per loop iteration.

Hi All! I'm wondering if this is possible in Celonis to build custom attribute (not based on any table) through which I can iterate and calculate pu functions? I want to create record which can be used for reporting purposes (extracted using PowerBI connector).In this record I want to see KPIs per month. For KPI calculations I'm taking into consideration multiple factors including dates (entry date, clearing date, etc.), so I can't build this column only base on one date field. I was thinking about creating attribute, which will contains specific range of dates (not based on any SAP table) and then, base on it, iterate by all those dates in range and set up pu functions using those dates as variable. I was trying using RANGE, but I was getting error that there is no common tables between range and for example BSEG (from which I'm taking date to compare to result of RANGE function):

Hi all! I am trying to track the information how many notifications are sent weekly by my Action Flow. Do you know the best way to do so? Can I add some module in the action flow that would be able to add a line whenever we have new notification to some table that I could then use in the KPI of the analysis? BR!Magda

Hello! Among my data I have records with four possible values in the column Class ('Inactive', 'Proc Manage', 'non-Proc Manage' and '-'). The last option occurs when there is no value for the record inside Class column.  Although without filtering I can see records with all values of Class listed above, trying to filter as in the picture, I can't get them (I receive only Inactive ones, my goal is to get empty ones also). If I want to get for example only those where Class = 'Inactive', it's easy, but what about the requirement to filter only records with no value for Class column? I don't know how to do it in a table, and inside Action Flows filtering as well. My intuitive code inside Action Flow is FILTER "MyTable"."CLASS" IS NULL
