Scaling Process Intelligence from a pilot to an enterprise engine isn't just a tech rollout, it's an organizational gamechanger. Drawing from digital transformation experience across global enterprises like Merck, GE HealthCare, and Johnson Controls, here is the playbook for driving massive enterprise ROI.🚫 The Don’tsDON’T start with pure reporting: Using Celonis like a prettier Power BI delivers zero ROI. Focus on proactive, context-driven process execution rather than passive, historic dashboards. DON’T isolate IT: Data pipelines matter. Always build a Governance Trio for every domain, combining a Process Lead, a Functional Lead, and an IT Lead alongside your Center of Excellence.. DON’T rely solely on grassroots excitement: Bottom-up energy builds momentum, but top-down sponsorship drives budget. Executive alignment at Merck boosted total realized value from $20M to $75M in a single year. DON’T accept functional silos: Process is process, whether in Finance, Manufacturing, or Clini

Hey Celonis Community! Let’s be honest: just about every enterprise is rolling out an AI pilot or initiative right now. And if you look at the executive dashboards, things look amazing! 🚀 Ticket automations are up, bug fixes are fast, and data parsing is a breeze. But according to an Economist Enterprise report, while CTOs are celebrating high confidence in AI returns, the teams closest to the actual work are feeling a lot less enthusiastic. Why the gap? Because we are treating AI like bolt-on tech solutions and measuring activity and tasks, instead of true business outcomes. We're mistaking a busy waiter for a happy diner! If you want to move past vanity metrics and ensure your AI investments are driving real value, here are the benchmarks you actually need to consider:Ditch the Vanity Metrics 📉: Just because an AI tool is being used doesn't mean it's actually helping. Adoption rates and click counts are just noise if they don't move the needle on real business goals. Focus on Real O

Hey Celonis Community! Ready for some major process inspiration? Today, we’re celebrating the team at Vinmar International (a global plastics and chemicals distributor) and their incredible transformation journey.Operating in over 110 countries, Vinmar was facing constant global supply chain disruptions. Instead of just reacting, they teamed up with Celonis to turn complexity into their superpower. Here is how they did it:The Mission: Turn a massive $3B business unit's Order-to-Invoice process into a fully automated, intelligent operation. The Secret Sauce: They connected their ERP, logistics, and banking data into a central Celonis cockpit. Now, an AI Agent automatically ranks the best shipping options based on cost and speed, leaving humans in the loop just for the final green light. The Results: A massive 20% efficiency boost! Processes that used to take six months of manual coordination are now done in just two days.“Celonis has absolutely given us a head start in our AI journey.”

Hey Celonis Community! Grab your popcorn, because the tech world is undergoing a massive plot twist! We’ve officially entered AI's Second Act. The days of gasping over massive, generic LLMs that can write poems about pizza are making way for the real hero of the enterprise: Applied AI rooted in true operational context. Turns out, just throwing a ginormous model at complex business processes is like bringing a monster truck to a Mario Kart race, it’s flashy, but it’s totally going to miss the shortcuts! To actually win, AI needs to understand exactly how your business operates. Here is why operational context is stealing the show in AI's second act:Size Isn't Everything! : A smaller, laser-focused AI model packed with your organization's unique process data will run circles around a massive, generic model every single time. It's all about precision, not bragging rights! No More Blind Spots : Generic AI has no idea about your custom workflows, legacy quirks, or that one hyper-specific wo

Hey Celonis Community! 👋 Ready for some major process inspiration?Let’s take a quick trip to Germany, home to Europe's largest production site for packaging steel: thyssenkrupp Rasselstein! They serve over 400 customers across 80 countries, but even global giants face massive market pressure. To stay ahead, they set a bold goal: digitize their end-to-end supply chain. The catch? Their massive facility was powered by more than 300 different legacy systems! Talk about a breeding ground for operational silos and data blind spots. Worse yet, planners were completely "blind" to the status of incoming raw materials from their parent company, making it impossible to pivot when delays popped up.🔗 Enter the Digital Twin To shatter these silos, the team used the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform to build a real-time digital twin of their entire supply chain!By streaming near real-time data from their parent company straight into their internal planning systems, they created a beautifully "c

Hey Celonis Community! 👋Have you ever wondered what happens when one of the most complex, high-stakes organizations on the planet tries to clean up its financial operations? For years, the Department of War has chased the holy grail of a clean audit opinion. The traditional strategy? Pouring billions of dollars into highly customized, ultra-expensive "vanity" software platforms. But there’s a massive catch: when a system requires an army of PhD-level specialists just to run a basic query, the vendor holds all the keys. The career government professionals left to manage the actual funds are left locked on the outside looking in.The Department is finally shifting from high-cost, customized setups to Purpose-Built Commercial Off-the-Shelf solutions and Celonis is leading the charge! Here is exactly how process intelligence is outperforming vanity platforms, broken down for quick reading:🏛️ The Great Disconnect: Vanity vs. ValueWhy is the Department of War pivoting to a process-first COTS p

Hey Celonis Community! 🙌Are you ready to talk about the future of ERP transformations? We all know that Generative AI is completely changing the game, promising to make migrations faster, smarter, and way more agile! But there’s a catch. For AI to truly supercharge your ERP journey, it needs one major ingredient: Context. Period. Here is why context-aware AI is the ultimate secret weapon for your next transformation:Beyond the Standard Playbook 📚: AI can do incredible things, but without the right business context, it's just guessing. It needs to understand your unique workflows, legacy system code, and actual process data to make an impact. Hey Celonis Community! 👋The tech world is buzzing following an incredible VivaTech 2026! With Germany taking the spotlight as VivaTech’s Country of the Year, a massive theme emerged that affects every single one of us: It's time to industrialize Enterprise AI. 🤖We all know AI is incredibly smart, but leaders everywhere are realizing a harsh reality, intelligence alone isn't translating into game-changing business outcomes. So, what's the missing ingredient?Context. Deep, detailed, operational context. 💡Here are the top takeaways from Celonis’ latest feature on how we move from AI experimentation to true enterprise transformation:🛑 The Gap: Promise vs. PerformanceOrganizations are pouring massive investments into AI to boost productivity and speed up decisions. Yet, without knowing how a business actually runs, AI operates in a vacuum. It's like putting a world-class racing engine into a car but giving the driver no map or traffic data! 🏎️💨🗺️ Enter the Celonis Context Model (CCM)

Hey Celonis Community! 🚀Imagine realizing you’re spending $10 million a year to ship parts "urgently," only to discover they sit on a shelf for four days before anyone even touches them. That’s exactly the kind of "brutally honest" truth tech giant Fujitsu uncovered when they plugged Celonis into their global operations.By grounding Enterprise AI in Process Intelligence, they transformed their supply chain from a guessing game into a multi-million-dollar efficiency machine. Here is how they did it in record time:📦 Taming a 2.5-Million-Item Inventory BeastPost-COVID, Fujitsu needed to slash excess safety stock. Sounds simple, right? Not when you are managing 25,000 product types and 2.5 million individual items across 11 different legacy systems.Instead of spreadsheets and guesswork, Fujitsu used Celonis to build a living digital twin of their supply chain. They layered this with AI-backed recommendations that told buyers exactly when to stock up, re-allocate, or hold off on buying ma

Hey Celonis Community! 👋🚀Let’s be real for a second: Enterprise AI is super exciting, but it has a massive kryptonite... operational blind spots. Right now, your AI is only as smart as the data it can see. But your business doesn't live in a vacuum! Your most critical process data is scattered across external suppliers, logistics partners, and customers. If your AI agent can't see what’s happening across your entire value chain, how can it make the right calls?Spoiler alert: It can't. 🛑But what if you could smash those company borders and give your AI the ultimate superpower? We are throwing a special webinar, "AI Without Company Borders: Connecting Data Everywhere, All at Once," to show you exactly how Celonis Networks makes this magic happen!🌐 What we’re diving into:🤝 Next-Level Collaboration: See how Celonis Networks securely bridges data gaps between you and your partners, feeding your AI the perfect operational context. 🔮 Predicting the Future (Almost): Learn how shared dat

Hey Celonis Community 👋Let’s be real for a second. A year or two ago, boards used to ask what AI could do. Today? They are asking exactly what it has done, demanding real numbers, true business value, and, crucially, justification for that eye-watering cloud bill! As we all try to scale Enterprise AI, a hidden, budget-munching monster is starting to creep into our operations. Meet The Token Ogre ⚠️💸 The Reality of "Tokenmaxxing" Have you heard of tokenmaxxing? It’s what happens when AI models consume massive amounts of tokens by treating every single business task like a super-complex, deep-reasoning math problem. 🧠Check out these mind-blowing stats from a recent Deloitte report:A major healthcare enterprise watched their token usage spike 8% to 10% month-over-month! This quickly ballooned into a whopping $6 million in unplanned annualized costs! Yikes! Why does this happen? Standard "frontier models" are brilliant generalists, but they don't know the unique, messy reality of your

Dear Community, Every now and then, it’s amazing to take a step back and look at how far we’ve all come together. A recent feature article by City AM pulled back the curtain on the Celonis journey, sharing a legendary story from our early days that perfectly captures our spirit.Back when our co-founders were university students, they were so scrappy they shared a single car to visit clients, and sometimes, they literally had to push that car up the hill just to get to their meetings! Fast forward fifteen years, and that same student-built company is valued at over $13 billion, standing proud as one of Europe's most valuable private tech giants. Talk about an uphill climb that paid off!Winning Over the UK Market 🇬🇧While Celonis has long been a household name in Germany, our reach across the UK is skyrocketing:Top Global Market: The UK has officially become one of our top three largest markets worldwide.
