Identity Crisis Solved! You Can Change Your Username 🎭

Did you sign up as ProcessGuru99 back in the day, but it just doesn't resonate with you anymore?

Good news: the era of being stuck with your old name in the Celonis Community is officially over! Username customization is live! Whether you’ve outgrown your old name, or just want to stop hiding behind a typo, you can now swap your display name in just a few clicks.

✏ How to Change the Old Username

1. Log into the Celonis Community.
2. Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner and select “Settings”.
3. Click “Change username” underneath your profile picture.
4. Type in your glorious new identity and hit “Update username”.

It is also available by going to “My profile” and “Edit profile”. 

💡 Some Tips Before You Get Too Creative:

• First Come, First Served: Usernames must be unique. 
• No Stats Were Harmed: Changing your name won't reset your hard work. Your community rank, badges, posts, and accepted solutions will stay right where they belong.
• Tag, You're It: Let your community friends know! Once you change it, people will need to @ mention your new handle to get your attention.

Give your profile the glow-up it deserves! While you're updating your name, take a quick moment to polish the rest of your profile too—adding a photo, bio, and company makes it so much easier for fellow members to connect with you.
