Celonis EMS Impala error due to "-symbols in query

We are currently migrating to Celonis EMS, however we are experiencing an issue with the Impala connector. Celonis creates queries such as  Select * from "schema"."table" where Impala interprets " as string delimiter. Other tools that are talking to our Impala database, including Celonis on-premise, do not have this issue. Does anyone know how to configure the Celonis Impala data connection to change this? Many thanks in advance! Joos Buijs - APG

Is there a way to use the Pull Up functions in PQL Logics to display every line?

In my project, I'm experiencing an issue with PQL pull-up functions. I am utilizing pull-up functions because Level 2 and Level 3 Columns are generated based on augmented attributes (User Updated in Celonis). If I use those fields directly in the Logics, I get a common table error as we are pulling data from multiple tables.Using PU_FIRST gives me the oldest first record. Using PU_LAST gives me the latest record.I looked over the documentation, but I couldn't find any alternatives.I tried with BIND and DOMAIN Table Functionalities those are also not working. Please let me know if you have any knowledge on the aforementioned question Thanks in Advnace.

CALC_CROP Filter statement

Hello! I am trying to apply a filter script on a process explorer component. I do not want to use a selection. filter CALC_CROP(first_OCCURRENCE['Start'] to last_OCCURRENCE['End'], "Activities"."Activity Name") = 1; For some reason it does not apply the filter and crop accordingly. Is there something I am missing? ('Start' and 'End' are placeholders)

What is the best way to do data ingestion with genesys?

Has anyone had experience in integrating Genesysis, telephone contact center software (https://www.genesys.com/)?There is no connector, there is no extractor, and Genesys does not store data in an externally accessible database. Has anyone had any experience? How did you establish the data connection to the source? Thanks

Total of Invoices for Vendor at Time of Invoice Posting

I am trying to create a formula to calculate the total of all invoices for a vendor (but not yet cleared) when an invoice for that vendor is posted. I am using SAP data, and trying to calculate using data from the BSEG table. I am displaying this total in an OLAP table in an analysis. I am passing in the posting date of the current invoice as a parameter ({p1}). The result displayed is the vendor invoice total for all invoices, for all records. PU_SUM("LFA1", "BSEG"."WRBTR", ("BSEG"."BUDAT" <= {p1}) AND ("BSEG"."AUGDT" >= {p1})) The Vendor Master table (LFA1) and the Invoice Line Item table (BSEG) are linked in the data model via MANDT (Client) and LIFNR (Vendor ID). Whatever help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

No data in the LIPS table when the delivery type is HOD, NL or NLCC

Hello, I'm trying to do an analysis where I require the item data from delivery notes ( LIPS table), however for some reason in this specific table I have no information regarding items with delivery type = HOD, NL, and NLCC, only LF and LR appear. I checked all analysis filters and found nothing. LIKP table has HOD, NL, and NLcc information and so do VTTTP and VTTK.Can someone tell me what the issue might be? Thank you

Hi all,

Hi all, I am getting an error when I am extracting data in my training environment. I am attempting to extract a 200mb table from my Azure SQL database.  My data consumption is 1.74gb of 4gb. Data consumption levels had previously been exceeded on the 14/01/2023. I have attempted to upload even smaller tables and the same issue persists.Is there a quick solution to this.

O2C Process Data Model Setup

Dear all, just out of curiosity. In the O2C Template data model the tables VBRP and LIPS are joined to the VBFA and then to VBAP. We are doing this in the transformation and join VBRK,LIPS directly to VBAP. image711316 16 KB What are the advantages of including VBFA in the process model? How to get Distinct Case Key with values different than 0?

Hi everyone, I am trying to build an OLAP Table where I need to have "Case Key" Column. The problem I have is that I need to highlight just the CASE KEY Values (distinct) for which in column "Parameter" the values are different then Null. Here is the input table: Here is how the Output Table should look like:  Any idea on what should I do to get that OLAP Table? I tried with CASE WHEN + ISNULL Functions but so far without any succes. Thank you in advance for any tips!

Variable Filter Dimension

Hi everyone, we want to restrict access to users for a dashboard. Therefore we match the user_name() to an uploaded excel.  But since some users should see whole regions and others just single plants we want to adapt the dimension based on the excel input. To make it more understandable: FILTER VBAP.WERKS = (CASE WHEN EXCEL.EMAIL= USER_NAME() THEN EXCEL.WERKS) This is working fine. However making the "VBAP.WERKS-part variable doesn't work yet. (CASE WHEN EXCEL.EMAIL = USER_NAME ( ) AND ISNULL(EXCEL.WERKS) = 0 THEN EXCEL.WERKS' ELSE 'EXCEL.REGION' END) So the idea is that this also leads to: FILTER VBAP.WERKS = EXCEL.WERKS Does anyone have an idea how I have to adapt the part that chooses the dimension? Best regardsAram

Replication Cockpit vs. scheduled delta extractions

To achieve real time data there are two possible ways. 1. Use the replication cockpit with a real-time extractor.2. Use scheduled delta extractions as data jobs. Option 1 obviously will be the recommended one. But what are downsides of option 2?From my understanding the bottleneck of this whole process is loading the data model.If that takes e.g., 10 minutes (which is a rather fast example), scheduled delta extractions, if scheduled more frequent or equal, should achieve the same thing like the replication cockpit.So why would I use a real time extractor instead of that when I can achieve the same result with option 2?

I have two dropdowns and I want filter the second with the value of the first one and not put the values not selectable in gray (behaviour like 'FILTER FORCE')

Good morning, I'm working with Celonis EMS Studio (with packages, no with views), and I have two dropdowns like a filter. I would like when select one value of the first one, the another dropdown put only the posibles values to select in this columns (not appear in gray, behaviour similar to 'FILTER FORCED'). For example, I have countries and cities like dropdowns, when select Spain, would like have only the cities of Spain (and not cities of another country in gray like now). Thank you very much. Kind regards.

Beginner question on how to calculate the throughput time between activities without counting multiple entries

Hello everyone, I want to calculate the average delivery time and I chose to do this by calculating the throughput time between activity A and activity B in Studio with this formula: AVG (  CALC_THROUGHPUT (    FIRST_OCCURRENCE [ 'A' ]    TO    LAST_OCCURRENCE [ 'B ] ,    REMAP_TIMESTAMPS ( "ACTIVITIES"."EVENTTIME" , DAYS )  )) However, Celonis warns me that >> The aggregation function AVG is applied on a column from table "_ACTIVITIES_CASES" which has a 1:N relationship to the common table "ACTIVITIES". << Could anyone tell me what causes this and how I can make sure that there are not multiple entries sabotaging the average? Thank you very much in advance!
