Create your Eventlog from your tables: quick and easy

The Snap team is always trying to improve the user experience of our users and simplify Process Mining in order to allow them to analyse more processes. In the past two weeks the only thing we could think of was: what if we could develop a feature that allowed our users to generate their Event Logs from raw data in an easy and intuitive way? This would eliminate the frustration of our users that they dont know what an event log is and where to find it. For instance, lets have a look on the data coming from a Service Desk Application and how can we generate an Event Log. Most of the times such applications consist of two main tables the Tickets and Ticket changes. Tickets table consists of columns such as: ID, Created at, Updated at, Commented at, User and Category. Tickets changes table consists of columns such as: ID, Status changed at, Assigned at, Deleted at, Department etc. So if we had a feature that would automatically convert these tables into an Event Log then it would l

Hi all, How to change the team name on Snap? I saw under Team settings > Settings that it is possible to change the team name but it always roll back the change. In fact I have a team with my personnal name and I want to change it with my enterprise name. Could anyone help? Thanks Nico

Known bug when uploading a XES file

When you upload your XES file using the Snap quickstart and you see something similar to the following screenshot image1272716 52.7 KB then most probably your XES file is missing the global attribute. For instance this is a file that does not have the global attribute and we will have the same problem. image744469 41.5 KB What we need to do here is to add the following global attribute <global scope="event"> <string key="id" value="string"/> <string key="org:resource" value="string"/> <string key="concept:name" value="string"/> <date key="time:timestamp" value="2017-01-09T09:49:50.000+01:00"/> <string key="org:role" value="string"/> </global> including the columns that we can find from the event attribute to our XES file. Using Celonis Snap in Enterprise Environment

Hi all, Currently we have an IBC license with a couple of processes. However, it would be very useful for us to have a place to sandbox new ideas and use cases, also for other business units. Unfortunately the IBC license has no room for that, but luckily we have Celonis Snap. The only problem there is that security is not very happy with the lack of user and data control. We are curious how other companies deal with this issue. For us, it would be very helpful to have a hybrid solution in the future. In this case, every IBC user automatically has a Snap instance, with the user management and audit tools from the IBC for instance. Activating your account is really easy. After you sign up, you will receive an email from no-reply@celonis.cloud like the screenshot below. Snap User Story: Formula 1 Analysis

I like motorsports, I like car racing, I like to go to race tracks or watch races on TV. So I thought "How cool would it be to analyze Formula 1 seasons, races, and drivers like polish Grand Prix legend Robert Kubica? Although Im a Celonis employee, I of course couldnt use the software for private purposes like this. However, that changed with the release of Celonis Snap, which is free to use for everybody. Heres how I created this Analysis using my personal Snap Account. First of all, I needed to get data. I found a very nice dataset on https://ergast.com/mrd/db/ . The dataset consists of multiple tables containing up-to-date F1 race data from the very first Grand Prix in 1950 until today. I created the tables in my Postgres database based on the schema information provided on the website, and dumped the csv files into it. I dumped them into a relational database instead of uploading them directly to Snap because I needed to do some transformations before, for example, I wanted t
