Enhancements to language support in Studio (2023-12-07)
- Use the new Add language button in the package settings to enable any of the ISO-639 recognized languages for a Studio package, enabling users to view your package in that language where translated content is available. The new languages are partially supported, which means they’ll only be used in the scope of Studio, packages, and assets. The rest of the Celonis platform supports the nine languages that were supported previously (English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Spanish).
- The missing translations dialog now groups the generated translation keys by the type of source they were extracted from (such as a table, KPI, or event log). We’ve also put in a search capability so you can find keys more easily, along with some other usability improvements.
- We’ve added a dropdown selector in the top navigation bar for end users to pick their preferred language for an app’s UI. The dropdown includes the languages that you’ve enabled in the package settings, including any custom translations that you create. If a user doesn’t pick a language, we’ll default to the preferred language given in their user profile.
