Hello Community,

I would like to give my users the option to display an amount (e.g. freight) in any currency. To do this, I use the function CURRENCY_CONVERT_SAP and pass the target currency via a variable. This works perfectly.

My problem is the unit: Do you know of or is there a way to use my variable in the unit field so that the selected currency is automatically displayed as the unit?

Thank for help, Thomas

You can do this in the views, when displaying the unit pass the variable in the view instead of the KM

OK, thank you 😊 not my preferred solution but better then nothing.

On further question: Would it then be possible to use a table attribute in the unit in the knowledge model?

E.g. I have stored the Currency in the field VTTK.WAERS … Can I use this field als Unit? If yes how?

Best, Thomas

I don't believe that is possible

I don't know whether I was blind or whether it has become possible with an update in the last few days: Now it is possible to use a variable in the Unit Field of a KPI in the Knowledge Model ✌🏻

It would be great if not only a variable but also an attribute were possible. For example, I have the fields NETWR and WAERK on the table VBAP.

  • NETWR e.g. 1000
  • WAERK e.g. EUR

Now I want to use the attribute VBAP.WERK in the unit field of NETWR with the result 1000 EUR.

I have made an Feature suggestion for this: CASE 00350163
