Hello,

I followed the course of process simulation step by step. created a package, then created knowledge model and selected a Data Model Variable, but I cannot see the "simulate" in the menu of this package. What happens? How to fix it?

Hello,

It's unfortunately a example of not-the-best-UI-Design. In that case that option is not visible because it's disabled for the environment that you're using. The only way is to contact service desk - they may enable it, or you'll have to change environment in order to be able to test that feature.

Try-celonis screenshot:

obrazMuch better solution would be to include that option but make it grey/inactive and include hovering information that it's unavailble for that environment version.

Best Regards,

Mateusz, thanks.

I have sent an email to service desk. BTW, what means changing environment? web browser?

Hi,

You've go different types of Celonis Environments - there's Celonis Snap (or it was some months ago - it was for educational purposes), TryCelonis - it was for showing APPs to customers, C4C (Celonis 4 consulting) - probably for creating quick POC for consultants, normal paid Celonis instances, and some automatically generated demo instances that you've probably use (created when making trainings in Celonis Academy). The demo version related to Academy is the most limited I think.

I'm not complitely sure about those descriptions from above, as those products are changing constantly, but it should be more or less accurate.

They've got different limitations, and capabilities - so by changing environment I've meant using different Celonis sandbox with wider capabilities.
