Hi,

I would like to know if there is any possibility to give the PQL formula for KPI inside view.

Please let me know for any hints.

Thank you in advance :)

Best Regards,

Shravya B

The KPI List component does not allow this, but there are certain components that enable you to write a PQL based on filters. However, the question is, why would you want to do that?

By having the PQL formula in the Knowledge Model, it becomes more robust. A Knowledge Model is a tool that allows you to change a measurement and its formula in one place, so you only have to do it once. It makes updating the model easy when data changes. You can create different Knowledge Models for different groups and disable parts you don't need.

Hi @Abhishek Chaturvedi ,

Thank you for the response. I understand your point. But, i have a requirement where i would like to combine the KPI from two different knowledge models inside the view (for ex. sum of both KPIs from different KMs). I was trying to find an approach for the same. Unfortunately, i couldn't find any solution yet. Meanwhile, i wanted to know if we can make use of PQL to achieve the same. For ex: PQL for KPI will be written as "COUNT(EVENT) * value of other KPI". This doesn't seem to be feasible as i was not able to figure out how to store value of KPI as well.

Kindly let me know if you have any hints regarding the same.

Thank you :)

Hi Shravya,

Currently I have not seen two different KM being used in Celonis for the same view/dashboard. You can hoevere raise a ticket with Celonis to understand if the same is possible in the first place.
