You just use the name of the variable in the dimension... like this

Hi - I was able to create variables in the variable sections & added manual input in button dropdown component. Bu when I select button drop down the variable is not passing to the OLAP table after adding the dimension (its showing static values for the first dropdown option only). pls help.

You define the variable first as Text/Replacement

In the dropdown you assign manual input.

For the dimension you want to change, you add the PQL. In.

Then in the OLAP as dimension you add only the variable
