Hello everyone,

we are currently in the process of implementing a HR process that extends the standard process Hire to Retire. Here we face the challenge that we do not have the changes data in the tables CDPOS and CDHDR, but saved in a cluster table PCL4. What would be the best practice working with a cluster table.

Additional requirement is, that we would like to only export the timestamp and the change table/field to Celonis. The changed values should not be included in the export. This was done for the other tables, by creating views, that only contain the relevant columns. But with the cluster table we face the challenge that all data is stored in one column.

We would be happy about any experience or best practice with this kind of issue.

Best regards,

Philipp

Hello everyone, just want to provide our solution to this topic if anyone else runs into the same issue.

Our SAP developers have developed a report that preprocesses the cluster table and creates a view with only the relevant data (timestamp, changed infotype, changed subtype, username). This report is scheduled each week in SAP. The created view is extracted afterwards instead of the cluster table.
