We are currently migrating from Celonis 4.7 on premise to the cloud EMS.

I have certain 'old' pyCelonis scripts that I would like to run against our local Celonis instance. I'm currently using pyCelonis 1.2.8, which is of course greatly outdated and which I would like to upgrade. However, as of 1.6.0 (where the docs start) I don't see any mentioning of connecting to an on premise instance. Before I start to trial-and-error update, I hope someone here would be able to help me pinpoint to which version I can update without issues.

Does anyone have any experience with this???

Hi @joos.buijs!

In my search to find the old simulation assets in PyCelonis, I found that version 1.4.0 at least has code for Celonis4. Not sure if this is the latest version that has that, but at least it should somewhere between 1.4.0 and 1.6.0.

Update,

In version 1.6.0, you are redirected to a different package. Not sure if this is still live, but would be worth checking.

Thanks a lot Jan-peter! I managed to find an old version of celonis_tools with which I managed to create a script to migrate datamodels, including data in case of file uploads, to the Celonis EMS!

Analyses are a work in progress.
