Hello Celonis-Team, As an extension to my suggestion: Click here A full text search over all transformation scripts would be very helpful. This way you can quickly find out in which scripts a certain table, field etc. is used. Thank you Thomas
Hello Celonis-Team, In order to optimize the data jobs and to increase the speed, I try to select only needed table columns und filter table extraction to only needed data sets. Unfortunately, this is not easy because it is hard to figure out which columns are needed where. Therefore, the following proposal: Implement a Where-Use List. This should show which tables and columns are used in which filter and in which transformation, e.g. a indicator in the Extraction Table Configuration (per table, per column)By clicking you can see in which transformations the table or column is used. where_used986443 22.6 KB Also, it would be very helpful to see the execution time per task and step in the job log as list column. At the moment I have to open the tasks and steps one by one and calculate the times manually. execution_time1630511 21.7 KB Thank you Thomas
Is there an inbuilt process connector available in IBC for Success Factor- a Human Capital Management system
Hello, It would be great if the current view of an analysis could be exported to PDF. Different options for the required sheetsOption for an extra page that shows all filters & values in detail. pdf958374 28.1 KB
Dear Celonis, not sure if such a feature request already exists. If yes, then please ignore. Otherwise - it would be great to have a built in possibility for versioning, especially for data jobs, but actually for the whole instance. Or in general test/production environment concept. thanks Masha
Hello, in our analysis we have a lot of sheets. On every sheet is the same navigation pane (various components like button, dropdown and so on) At the moment, we have to maintain/edit the navigation pane on every sheet. Better solution 1: Select all components of the navigation pane and set a new option Grouping. After grouping the components to one big component set to new option "show on every sheet. Better solution 2: New sheet-type Background sheet. All components on the background sheet are visible on all sheets who have assigned the background sheet. Kind regards Thomas
With a button action it is possible to show a message box. This should also be possible as a configurable right click action. So we can provide users with help on KPIs and keep the design clean (no buttons) right_click968443 33 KB
Hello Celonis team, In IBC Process Analytics, Is it possible to hide or unhide an analysis or even entire workspace ? Over time with continues development of analyses in IBC, workspace might be crowded, and Its getting more and more difficult to the right one to continue work with. Also, sometimes when an analyst present some analysis to the audience, she or he may not want to show all of the analyses to avoid confusion etc. So, is it possible for analyst and admin to hide and unhide analysis/workspace based on proper authorizations? Thanks, Denny
Hi Celonis Team, I was wondering if Celonis is planning to prodive the Uplink connectors (JDBC, SAP, etc.) as Docker Containers in the future. To be honest, the current architectur (1 Service for each instance and type) of those connectors is complex (especially, if youre running multiple instances) and the the need for virtual/physical hardware is just a lot of overhead for a middleware. The benefits would be Limited development overhead for building the containersEasier maintainability and scalability on the customer side for multiple connectorsNo side effects and version conflicts with different Java VersionsAlmost no installation overhead for existing docker landscapesEasier upgrades, just replace the image and keep configuration Thank you for your Feedback and best regards Max
Hi everyone, currently in the Data Service Link for an OLAP-table you enter the column used for the hyperlink via a local variable <%=colX%> with X = the respective column number. Sadly this is messed up very fast if a user hides/unhides certain columns or changes the order via the small eye-icon of the table. From my point of view, it would make more sense to provide the name of the column as the local variable so the position of the column and if its hided/unhided doesnt matter any longer. Additionally at the moment the icon for the link is always after the entry of the first column, even though your local variable is in a different column. If the entry in the first column exceeds the width of the column, you are not able to click the icon for the hyperlink as it is cut as well. Thus the icon should not be related to the length of the entry in the column. Best regards, David
Hi Celonis Team, Do we have an option to calculate the approximate time to be taken before extracting data from external sources /tables ? It will help us to plan the time accordingly and if needed, to skip the mammoth data and continue with rest OR schedule specific tables extraction during non-working hours. Attached example: DD03M takes a day to complete the extraction. Log file21191080 151 KB
Hi, In some cases, the calculation of certain KPIs has to be done using PU_FUNCTIONS. However, as these function do not consider the actual analysis filters, the values calculated might not be the expected. Although I agree that not taking into consideration the current analysis filters is quite useful, I believe that it would be a great improvement to have the possibility to consider also the filters. Best Regards, Bruno
Hello Community, I am playing around with the backup content function for Celonis analysis. https://python.celonis.cloud/docs/pycelonis/en/latest/notebooks/99_Use_Case_Version_control.html#Create-backups-of-all-analyses-that-are-published-in-separate-workspace-directories While investigating, I realised that you have to store your file locally, before you can push it to Git, or AWS S3. I was wondering if anyone tried to directly send the backup to S3, or Git?
Dear all, in the past 11 months we implemented several data models from the content store now facing the following issue, that the content store evolves over time but being a complete black box for us, which I would like to describe with a short example: We implemented PTP almost one year ago. As the content/app store is enhanced over time we now face the issue, that we do not know, if there happened any update to the data model / basic analyses. E.g. we found a new basic analysis (Three-way-matches) which was not available when we initially implemented the data model. After downloading we noticed that our data model is missing tables for this new analysis meaning that there was also an update to the data model. As there are 20++ analyses for certain data models it is impossible to track manually on a regular basis, if there were any new analyses added or if further if there was any adjustments to existing ones. Additionally, as the data models are provided seperately, we have no insig
Hi, I have got the feedback from our users that they miss the select/deselect all feature in the attribute selection, which has been removed with release 4.5. They are not entirely happy with the invert selection feature as replacement. Could you consider including it again? Even if redundant, I think the users would appreciate to have the choice with which feature they prefer to work! Thanks, Stephanie
A few months ago it was mentioned that user/analyses stats and usage would be coming to the IBC. From the SaaS hosted version, this information is available and it would be nice to see this implemented in the IBC. Any update on this?
We have seen that there are some of the KPIs which has to be recreated in different analysis , may be becuase of data security. Role based access etc. Wouldnt it be nice that we have an App as Global KPI where we can drag and drop the KPIs which are used in different analysis and control where we would like to manage it. With that, any changes done to KPI is reflected across different analysis. This removed redudance of work, eliminates human error. Also managment dashboard and operation dashboard has the same calculations of the KPI.
Hello Celonis Development Team, Thank you for developing such a fantastic product. . I am a big fan already. Please share your opinion on having the following new features: Button - An option to show or hide one or multiple components. This will help us use the space for more innovative analyticsButton - An option to change the chart type of an existing component.Charts - The Series color mapping - options are limited and apply to all the series points. Instead, we should have a free code window wherein we can put codes to calculate color thresholds. The grid to put any component on the screen should have small steps giving freedom to arrange components more aligned. Thank you Regards, Sachin
Hi Celonis Community, were currently using Celonis 4.5 and have a large number of projects. At this point it would be very helpful to be able to search for a certain project. Unfortunately the search only supports folders, analysis and data models within the projects. Have I overlooked a way to do search projects? Otherwise Id appreciate some feedback if others would find this helpful as well. Best, David
Hi everyone, we currently face the following issue while analyzing a product lifecycle. After a development project we added a sales activity, holding the sales volume. Showing the timestamps of that activity on the x-axis and the volume on the y-axis, we receive the development of the product. This leads to the issue, if there are no sales in certain months, those months are not shown on the x-axis, meaning a year with sales each month is represented 12-times in the chart but a year with sales in only 2 months is represented only twice. This makes it impossible to read out trends on a case level. As the dimension formula is a regular (ROUND_MONTH(XXX_ACTIVITY.EVENTTIME)), there could be a checkbox to fill missing month between the highest and lowest available month. Best regards, David
When working with data jobs transformations; specifically going through them to edit a field on multiple transformations, it would be nice that once you make an edit, save the transformation, then have the ability to click on a Previous or Next button to move to the transformation before or after the current one without having to go first click on the back button, then hunt down the next transformation that you want. Ive included a screenshot of what Im suggesting. Thanks! -Dallas PrevNextTransformation.png1672776 58 KB
Issue: As we are building more and more dashboards we realize that some dashboard sheets are printed and spread, for instance in Obeya rooms. However, there is no way to include the applied filters, unless you make a screenshot, and therefore it is unclear what the printout represents. Feature request: Include the applied filters either in the print version, or make them available via a macro such that these can be added in a text field to be added to the dashboard sheet, and therefore will show up in a printout of the dashboard sheet.
We have connected Celonis to our central data core. This means we have data of over 700 processes in one generic table structure (case, step, process, client, etc.). However, this also means that if we want to have different case notions (for instance one analysis has a process as scope and hence case=case, while another is focusing on customer journey where case=client). Currently this means we have to load in the data twice (or more), with different activity/case notions set. This means duplication of the data. It would be nice if this setting could be data model independent (or: one data model has several case/act notions from which the dashboard can select one). Im aware of the process explorer option to change the activity attribute, but my request/suggestion is also concerning the case notion.
Hi everyone, with an increasing number of datamodels there might be an increasing connection between the data models for certain aspects. With the functionality of a button, you are currently able to jump between certain analyses even between different projects/data models. Still many data models use same base tables, like customer/material/ or other information. In many cases a complete end-to-end process cannot be covered within a single data model in a reasonable size/complexity of the data model. Thats why most of the times Order/Development/Planning/Production/Accounting/ are covered within seperate data models, even though there are information that are used in all of those data models. Would it be possible to enhance the functionality of jumping between analyses with matching certain attributes between the data models (easiest way would be if the same tables/attributes are available) to keep the filters without manually re-selecting them in every analysis you jump into? That wou
I often export results: to Excel, PDF of PNG. However, even more often I make screenshots/screen clippings of charts/items to paste in e-mails, presentations, notes, etc. It would be really neat if the visual representation of a component (/sheet) could be copied to clipboard as an image to be pasted later on.
