That's correct. If you want to connect a cloud or on-premise system with the EMS cloud, you need an additional machine that can run the Celoxtractor service.

Can you guide me on how to work with celoextractor and fetch data to EMS cloud, if you have usecase for same will also help me.

Unfortunately I cannot share examples with you, but I use it currently to connect data bases that are not in the list of data base connections. It is very flexible to obtain data, e.g. you can use a JDBC, ODBC or API connection to load, transform and send data. If you want to try it out, you could start to run the software on your local machine, as long as you have a connection with the data source. Also, the steps described in the documentation were very helpful to me: Welcome to Celoxtractor! — Celoxtractor documentation (celonis.github.io)

Hi, my apologies to enter my question here.

I am testing Celoxtractor following the instructions to do all the installations from here: https://docs.celonis.com/en/custom-connection-via-python-extractor.html

... and here: https://celonis.github.io/celoxtractor/

However, it is not working!

After implementing:

1.- I have the UpLink "up and running" in the server (see picture 1)

2.- The Team also shows the Uplink as "correctly linked" (see picture 2)

Problem: when I try to set up a new connection, the "python extractor" does not appear in the "Connect Data Source" dialog, under "On Premise" as it should, according to the instructions that I followed (see above) (see picture 3). I also attach error log.

Any idea what am I missing?
