Celonis supports Snowflake as data base connection out-of-the-box (see General Overview (celonis.com)). If you have a Snowflake instance, no additional costs will be charged.

Does out-of-the-box mean using custom JDBC connections to connect to the Data Lake or Data Provider on the Market Place?

To be honest, the documentation is a bit vague. On the one hand, it states that you should create a JDBC connection, on the other hand (as specified here Snowflake: How do I set up my OAuth / Key Pair Authentication data connection? (celonis.com)) it states that there should be a 'Snowflake Tile' when creating a connection.

I have once seen this tile but now it is not visible to me anymore. I think the easiest thing to do is create a service request to enable this feature for your team. Normally this is at no additional costs.
