Hi Celonis Community,
Β
One of the things that makes our Community so special is the wide range of voices and experiences that come together here. Every customer, partner, and member brings a unique perspective, and by sharing those stories, we all get the chance to learn, connect, and grow.
Β
This is why weβre excited to feature β
Hereβs what they had to say:
Β
Q: What motivated you to join the Celonis Community?
A: I'm talking about around 5 a 6 years ago, but the Celonis Platform looked totally different back then. The Cloud Edition was quite new, Action Flows did not exist, neither did Studio and Views. A lot of these functionalities were added in a short time, which had the downside that it was hard to keep up with all the changes, or you had outdated documentation (shout out to the documentation team, since it has improved a lot!). The community was a very welcome source of knowledge (sharing) with other Celonis Professionals.Β
Q: What do you usually come to the Community for?
A: When I was a junior in the Celonis world, I used the community to learn from use cases of others. Every question that was mentioned was as a small puzzle to me, in which I tried to A: solve it using the smallest working example possible and B: learn on how this could be used in one of my projects.Β
Q: Has there been a moment when the Community made a real difference for you?
Yes, for sure. The logic of one of my first big projects has been build on the very short answer of one of my questions: https://community.celonis.com/general-product-q-a-2/incorporate-filters-selection-to-pql-window-functions-index-order-lead-lag-146
Fun fact, I also was able to provide the same answer a couple of years later to somebody else: https://community.celonis.com/data-ingestion-infrastructure-7/kpi-calculation-next-event-following-a-last-occurence-event-2501
Q: Why do you think more people should get involved in the Celonis Community?
A: It is a very interactive way to keep up to speed with the latest functions and related companies/users. The nicest questions are like a mini hackathon that you want to solve. Also, it is the best way to make yourself familiar with the PQL Library.
Q: If someone were to follow your activity in the Community, what kind of insights or advice would they find you sharing?
A: My interest lies mostly on the technical side. Most of the answers are in the PQL, PyCelonis (ML Workbench) and Data Model area.Β
Q: The Celonis Community is...
A: ...your place to be for meeting your peers and learning about specific platform functionalities and use cases.
A big thank you to β
