I have built process maps using OCPM. When event timestamps are equal for more than one activity, the events are sequenced based on alphabetical order of event names in process explorer. This is misleading and does not make sense as it is supposed to be in the sequence of sort order.

Is there a way to configure sorting order based on sort column when events timestamp are equal?

Hi Aadil, I do not have privilege to access the above URL shared by you. Could you please copy and paste the content here. Many Thanks for your quick response.

Hi! Here is the current troubleshooting guide for this issue, although there will soon be an alternative solution to difine sorting for an eventlog when events have the same timestamp.

https://docs.celonis.com/en/troubleshooting-for-modeling-objects-and-events.html#UUID-0d7b83c8-d222-cd80-f9f4-e7d2bfc78593_UUID-9458f838-61d4-f7e6-177f-84abbf91b928

I would also expand upon the docs guide and use + INTERVAL '0.001' SECOND instead. 1 second can have a larger effect on some processes so sorting by 1ms can achieve the same result

Thanks a lot Eric for your idea. I have prefixed the event names with a1, a2, a3… and b1, b2, b3… so overcome the sorting issue for now.

No sorting available for OCPM as of now
