Is it possible for an user to retrieve a signal that has been resolved? 

In other words getting the signal back in the signal list from the history section.

 

Use case: end users are completing signals, but if/when they mistakenly resolve the signal they would like to retrieve it back to the signal list.

In Action Engine it is not possible to reopen a Signal once it has been put in the "resolved (manually)" state. Often a change to "resolved (manually)" is the consequence of executing an Action which does some changes (for example writing information back to a table, updating a value in SAP, sending an email, ...). Those changes would not be undone by changing the status back to open. Therefore, we do not plan to offer this possibility in Action Engine.

 

However, we understand your request. In the EMS Studio, "Tasks" can be created manually. So there it is possible to create a new Task in case a change has been done accidentally.
