Eg: I want to assign a value 'Category' to my runtime variable (runt_variable). previously, if the runt_variable has some other value assigned to it, I want to change it and assign it as 'Category' once this is done, the remaining action flow module has to be executed.

You can set up multiple variables directly on Action Flows using this module. Find more details about it here.

Unfortunately, is not possible to query runtime variables into action flows. You can get KPIs and records using the Get Rows module from Celonis.
