Exclusive Task Actions

Hi all,

Does anyone know if it is possible to implement exclusive actions of a created task within a skill?

See attached image for a situation I'm currently using. Is it possible to make the actions you select exclusive? Currently, when you open a task in a profile view, you can click both actions, I would like to disable this functionality and only allow for one action to be chosen.

Thanks,

Maurits

Skill Task creation and actions

If I understand your question properly you would want to execute one of the two flows.

You can use a router with certain conditions to  implement actions only when a certain condition is satisfied

Hey Abhishek,

Thanks for the response. The router is used a little earlier in the process when I'm creating different tasks based on some condition. However after I have created those tasks, I want to give the assignee several options on what to do with that task without the assignee being able to execute all of those options. I hope that clarifies the situation slightly.

Kind Regards,

Maurits

Hi Maurits,

Can you kindly explain me what is your exact use case ? I am still a little confused with your question.

Is it that you want your users to put in some value once the skill is executed with certain condition ?

Hi @1460069522,

Nice to see your here!

I think the most simple solution is to make a feature request to set this as an option.

Otherwise, I can think of one work-arounds: snooze/close the task after one of the actions has been activated so that it is temporarily not visible in the list. However, the end-user still has the same screen in front of him/her, so they can still click on the other action.

Cheers,

Jan-peter
