Hi all,

I want to set up an Action Flow witg Excel App using an Excel file on a Sharepoint.

We are using a technical user which has the owner rights in MS Teams to the main folder and write rights to the folder of the Excel file and the Excel file.

Unfortunately when starting Excel-App just the local folders of the technical User can be selected, but not the required Sharepoint folder.

What do I have to do? How is it possible to get access to the required file?

Many thx ahead.

Br

Daniel

Quick question can you create this excel file and keep it in a OneDrive and try the same, it may be due to your organization's security policy that you are unable to view/edit these files.

Another option would be to fetch this file through the Microsoft SharePoint Online module which may again require some additional security access. Kindly find the following link for more information.

Thx @Abhishek Chaturvedi . With OneDrive same problem. The thing is that my personal user has created the Excel file, not the technical user, can that be the problem. But this is not possible.

With Sharepoint App I have access to the folder. How do I fetch this file through the Microsoft SharePoint Online module?

Thx and br

It seems to be an access related issue, can you try making the excel file public and trying again

Ok, @Abhishek Chaturvedi , sorry for asking but how is it possible to make a Excel file public on a Sharepoint? I just see to share it with a link to everyone in my company?

Yes share with everyone in your company, that should make the excel accessible to anyone with the link. This should also make it available in Celonis. Also can you send a screenshot of your modules. I want to understand what are you doing exactly.

SHared with everyone but still not working? Any idea?

you need to first select document, then celonis and then flow

Unfortunately not, all these folders are local folders on the virtual machine of the technical userimage

Not sure Daniel, it seems like a access issue only. Would suggest to raise a support ticket with Celonis. Also can you not put this excel inside the local folders and continue ?

Ok, thx. We have no access to the local machine of the technical user and want to make the file accessable for everyone on a sharepoint. We will address the support. Thx.

Try Microsoft sharepoint online, you should have authorization in sharepoint to see the below screen where you can pick up the correct xlsx file.
