Using legacy analyses, we were able to set variable values and save bookmarks / share selections that included the state of the variables.
In studio views, it seems the state of the (user) variables in not included in bookmarks and shared selections.
Has anyone encountered the same challenge? Is there any way to share a link or bookmark including the state of the variables?

I do not know a direct way, but if you need this often, then you could build a workaround.
Maybe you can create some argumented Attributes with a skill, and then you can create one Skill which writes the current user Variables into KM Variables and one other Skill to copy the Values out of the KM Variables to the User variables.
It would be kind of a big mess, but if you really need a solution, then this could maybe work.
