Dropdown list limited to 50 values?

Hi, I have a dropdown list.

If I paste a colum with 100 values it selects 50 and says it cant find the other 50.

But if I paste the values seperatly if finds them all, is this intended?

How can I set up a way in which a user can past a list of values and the view is filtered by that list?
