Dear Experts ,

I have a doubt here, on what logic does the objects appear on scroll bar in Process explorer like shown in snapshots attached. Are they dependent on number of objects i defined or events or relationships ?

Hello Shaif,

Is your question regarding what dictates which objects appear in the first place when you create the process explorer? If so, it should be dependent on which event logs you choose to include when you first configure it.

Or are you asking about why you cant select events for some objects and can for others?

Thank you Andrew , you absolutely got it , “what dictates which objects appear as highways in process graph “. I will give you example to explain , i have got process which is Lead to cash which contains objects

  1. Lead coming from system A
  2. Lead converting to opportunity coming from system B
  3. Opportunity converting to order in system C
  4. Order is getting converted to fulfillment in same system C
  5. invoicing is also processed in same system C

but it shows multievent log “styled” graph with only two events

  1. Opportunities event log
  2. book to cash

So i am doubtful if there is any configuration issue that needs to be changed so that it appear OCPM styled process graph rather typical multievent process. Or do we need to change some YAML configuration of view ?

Does this makes sense ?

Sincerely - Shaif

Hi Shaif

I don't think I am fully understanding what you are looking for. Do you think you could procide a full screenshot of the process explorer that you are seeing, and a screenshot of the process explorer that you had in mind? If it helps, here is the documentation on multi event logs: https://docs.celonis.com/en/basic-configuration.html#UUID-ead14f3b-b4da-31d7-3eb0-94b3c28b7289_UUID-9dd31856-65cd-f605-b6fb-80dd9fef9c5d

no problem Andrew i think this documentation is helpful
