Hi @ashish.jha15,
It is first always a good idea to establish a referential model (aka expected process flow) with the business to import in the Conformance analysis. This will be used to see how well your referential model will fit the data in Celonis. (In other words, how much does the data follow the referential model?)
The 3 most common benefits (but surely not limited to these two are):
- Identify the root causes as of why the data does not fit the referential model well.
- Establish KPIs in the conformance analysis to diagnose the severity of non-conformance
- Monitor the progress of your process improvement initiatives
In terms of use case deployment, you can go really broad with this. For instance with Maverick Buying in a Procurement process. Here conformance analysis can illustrate the reasons why Maverick buying occurs and by whom or what. You can then also see the negative impact of Maverick buying in terms of KPIs, such as costs.
Hopefully this helped you out! 😄
Kind regards,
Sverre Klein
