Use of Knowledge model from Studio Analysis

FYI - I opened a question to support and they confirm me: currently you can NOT access Records of a KM from an Analyis. Only KPI

It seems KM is still a bit work-in-progress, although pretty interesting

I am not sure if I understand your question correctly, but for us the records in the KM are basically the tables of our Data Model and the content of these tables we are also able to access/refer to in our linked Analysis in a visualisaton.

However, I have not tested that for newly created records within a KM. Our standard is to include this as part of the transformation rather than the KM :)

Well, what I would like is to use the KM like a "standard data model" ... i.e. create a new record like for example "account" and then build all the visualisations and analysis against this new record "account"

that way, I can reuse the visualisations with new customers, projects etc... as I can use the KM to "traslade" from the data model tables into the new "account" entity.... just modifying the record at KM level

But for that I need Analysis, as Views gives me a different look and feel, and it seems Views is more suited to build ad-hoc "applications" with closed interactions..

I tested it. You can't. I even asked support and they confirmed me that you can't use new records in Analysis.

It's a pity you can't use the records in an analysis. I would like to define the default format and a description of every column.
