Upload lists of values to filters

Hi Knarik,

I don't think there is a way to upload the list values in this box.

I can suggest you an alternative way. You can create a variable and add a button in your sheet. And then your configure your sheet filter in such a way that whenever you press the button, the manual variable gets updated with the list values(activities to be hidden) and the filter will get applied accordingly.

upload / paste of multiple values within hidden activities button is not available.

As far as I know this only works for Attribute selection. E.g when selecting several rows of an excel file and copy & paste it into a field within Attribute selection Celonis recognizes a multi value paste action and uses all of them as filter value.

Thank you! It indeed works in 'Attribute selection', which is very helpful information. However, it doesn't seem to apply to hidden activities. Still, your input is valuable because I wasn't aware of this functionality before. Do you happen to know of a way to achieve the same for 'Activity selection'?

Poorly this is not working for hidden activities.

Not sure why Celonis has not implemented the multi value paste action to other components as well.

Therefore you should try to go the way explained by Sathish.

My recommendation is to install some analyses from Celonis marketplace as this scenario using variables and buttons is used quite often within those templates. There you can check how it can be setup.

Here are the steps to create a button as per my suggestion :

1. Create a variable for this filter. eg. "var_hidden_activities".
2. Create two buttons with the names - "apply filter" and "clear filter".
3. Configure "apply filter" in such a way that the variable "var_hidden_activities" holds all the activity values you wanted to hide.
4. Similarly, configure "clear filter" such that "var_hidden_activities" is emptied.
5. Now, apply filter in either load script or in the sheet filter based on "var_hidden_activities" such that activities in the variable "var_hidden_activities" are filtered out.
6. You can now choose "apply filter" and "clear filter" buttons to hide/unhide those activities in your view.
