Hello,

our users face regulary the issue that if someone sends them link with a certain selection, what opens is their last selection of the view and not the selection that was shared with them.

Is there any known way how to overcome this setup?

If you send somebody a selection, this selection should alway show up if the person clicks on the link.

Thank you for any advice.

Jan

Hello, did you try sharing with this Button?

Normally if you share with this Button, youre filter will be copied within the Link and directly applied if you open the link

Hi Jonas,

all right, we will test it.

They might just copied the URL browser link before...

Thanks!

Hello Jan,

We often face similar issues, however the root cause seems to be our internal authentication protocols to get users logged into Celonis. So, in other words, when the user first clicks on the link provided to them, they are simply “authenticated” in Celonis. However, as soon as they click the link a second time, they are then taken to the desired view/filters.

Another item to consider, if you are working in JAB, is whether the analysis has the “View preferences applied”. I have not played with that new feature much just yet, but it appears to me that this may potentially cause unintended side effects as the one you are pointing out:

Hello Andre,

thanks a lot for the explanation. I can confirm that in our case will a role the authentication as well. It behaves exactly as you describe. It was like that in studio analysis and same continue with JAB views.
