Dear Celopeers,

We have an SAP On-Prem extractor which make RFC calls with multiple SAP systems within our organization.

We want to now add a new connection/SAP System but the connection has to be SNC. We already have the instructions for setting up SNC, but the question is

Is it possible to use the same extractor and configure so that only one system needs an SNC and others work without those server certificates?

Or If we want to add a new connection/system with SNC setup

either we must have the server certificates imported for all the existing systems or we we should have a separate extractor with SNC?

How does this work? To clarify, only system 3 in the picture needs an SNC.

Hi,

yes it is possible to just use SNC for SAP System 3 and still connect to the other SAP systems without SNC.

In order to use SNC you first have to create your own PSE file that must be imported into SAP System 3 and than you have to import the PSE files coming from SAP into your on prem Extractor environment.

After setup has been done you are activating SNC for your data connection to SAP System 3 by activating "Use SNC" within your connection settings + you need to enter the SNC Partner Name.

For the other two data connections you do not activate "Use SNC" and keep them as they are.

This should not have any impact on them.
