Been pulling my hair out on this one. I'm the admin of our space and have full permissions, but the gear icon in the ML Workbench that's supposed to let you adjust memory allocation is just... not there. Checked on multiple browsers, different devices, had a colleague confirm it's not showing up for them either.

The script I'm trying to run keeps failing or hitting memory errors, and it's something our team relies on daily, so this is becoming a real problem. I've gone through the usual troubleshooting (refreshes, browser switches, confirmed admin rights) and I'm stuck.

Is there something I'm missing on the permissions side, or is there a way to enable this?

From what I understand, the memory configuration options in the ML Workbench aren't tied to admin permissions — they seem to depend on the license type your team is on.

On a standard or shared MLWB license, the configuration panel apparently isn't available to anyone, admins included. The gear icon seems to only show up with a dedicated MLWB license. So if it's missing, that's probably where I'd look first rather than at permissions.

There also seem to be no hidden settings that unlock this — from what I've seen, it's strictly a licensing thing. If you do have a dedicated license but resources are fully allocated, shutting down unused workbenches might free up capacity, though a license upgrade could also be worth discussing with your account contacts.

Worth checking with whoever manages your Celonis contract which tier you're on — that should clarify whether an upgrade makes sense.
