Hello Team,

we have built an API-extractor in the EMS Extractor Builder in order to get data from an on-prem system. Calling the on-prem API has been tested via PostMan (within the enterprise network), and works fine. But when calling the API from the EMS, we faced connection issue, due to the company IT security policies and measures (firewall blocks the external call).

Now I am seeking for a very detailed in-depth tech info on how the API-call proceeds step-by-step in order to design and approve the necessary IT security changes.

There is a good call/pipeline diagram for the database extractors in the Online Help: "help/display/CIBC/Pipeline+End+to+End+Overview", but nothing similar for an API extractor built in Extractor Builder.

Any ideas are welcome, BR, Attila
