Question

Is it possible to use the start and complete (end) timestamp of events, so I can analyze the waiting time?

I was looking for a way to exploit the timestamp of the complete (end) of an event. I couldn't find it in Celonis Academics EMS. Is there any way to do it?

We were provided a data set with both start timestamp and complete (end) timestamp, so we can analyze the waiting time. Is it possible to analyze the waiting time in Celonis EMS?

Hi @1460039685,

Unfortunately this values are not used in Celonis in the standard functionalities, such as the Process Explorer. However, you can use the values and a function like DATE_DIFF to create an additional column with the difference in time. In the dashboards, you can use this value in graphs, by summing it up per case. Also, you can create a Process Explorer KPI, that shows the average waiting time per event in the model, by going to the Proces Explorer KPI page (see image below).

Kind regards,

Jan-peter
