Install JDBC connector on Windows Server 2019 or 2022

When installing the JDBC extraction software, still Windows Server 2012 R2, which will be discontinued next year, is preferred (see Step 2- Setting up the SAP Extractor Service (celonis.com)). For durability reasons and company policies, we want to install in on Windows server 2019/2022. Has somebody experience with these versions and the working of the software, can we guarantee that the extractor software works on windows server 2019/2022?

As also mentioned in the documentation, The Operating systems are only recommendations and any system that can run Java 11 can be used.

    Hi Jan-Peter,

     

    we are currently migrating from CPM to EMS.

    Due to this migration we also setup a new extractor server running on Windows Server 2019.

    The "old" server we are still using for CPM in parallel is on Windows Server 2012R2.

    So far I have not experienced any differences or issues with 2019 compared to 2012R2.
