Hi all,

I have a question how to duplicate my data and dashboard.

I have one environment but it production so I'd like to duplicate it for testing environment including dashboard, data and datamodel. Can I do it simply or do i have to create it again?

You can easily duplicate the dashboard and data model

Dashboard

imageDatamodel

imageNot sure why you would want to duplicating data but the suggestion would be to use temp tables for the same.

Thanks for your reply @Abhishek Chaturvedi ,

But I actually know it, and I'm looking for complete duplicate of one celonis environment including every celonis resource at once.

I'd like to use copied environment as testing/development environment and I don't want to touch anything about original environment.

You can look at content-cli for the same however this will still not replicate your data.

Hi @Abhishek Chaturvedi ,

Thanks for your reply and I will test the git cli tool, but let me clarify one point if you know.

The Celonis Academy video on your URL says "do not migrate data", is that which following mean.

  1. It's not able to copy data technically.
  2. I must not copy data because it might cause of business issue but technically it is able to do.
