How do I create a custom label for a tooltip dimension?

Hi All,

I'm using the World Map data visualization functionality and created a location: coordinate dimension. However, I'm wanting to relabel that to the state name when the tool tips come up. I see there is an editor option to do that, but I'm unsure of the syntax as I couldn't find any documentation/ examples.

Take for example the screen shot attached, the coordinates are '47.751076, -120.740135'. I need to relabel that to "Washington". How would I do that?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Christian, if you enter the name at custom data point labeling, it should be displayed like this. Could this help you?

Hi Christian,

In the table that contains the Lat and Lon coordinates, does there exist a field for the state?

If so, put that field in the custom data point labeling section.

Thank you Andre and Erik! I wasn't expecting that to be so simple but yes inputting only the field name worked.
