Hi Team -

 

I am working on developing a business case to develop a business case at my company. I want to show the value and the business benefits exist in developing a CoE. I understand the value and have a vision on what I want to accomplish with a CoE.

 

Does anybody have a business case or presentation I can leverage in developing a business case to our leadership to getting a CoE established? Any other feedback is greatly appreciated.

Dear Paresh,

 

do you need to show hard savings for your business case to build up your CoE? In our case, it was more the question of how and where to set up the CoE. All have advantages and disadvantages. In our case, we went for a central approach.

 

main benefits we identified are:

  • Central orchestration and execution of data source connection
  • Central management of data models, ensure reuse and not x time similar data models
  • The CoE is the center of expertise and ensures keep knowledge
  • Fast deployment and faster ROI, due to specialized personal
