Help with Date Formats on View Tables

I'm wondering if this is a glitch or if I'm missing something very obvious. I've edited the record attribute in my Data Model to be in the date format %y-%m-%d, but for some reason it is displaying with hours, minutes and seconds. Please seen the screenshot. What am I missing? I have refreshed my browser, and exited edit mode several times. date format

    Weird behavior, it looks like you have set everything up correctly. Is this behavior replicable for all dimensions of the type date & time?

     

    I can see that if I change the date & time format to something else, it will reflect the change in the (i) but will not reflect it in the table until I refresh my browser.

     

    To double check, you have set your column type and format as such:Check of date & time format
