Hello everyone,

Does anybody knows what is happening with the font size of numbers in KPI Cards. Some of them are extremely big and some seem to be normal sized.

Thanks a lot!

@Mst11 Can you add a screenshots of the difference that you see?

As you can see, the size of the numbers in KPI Card are big and in order to see the trends we need to scroll, even though few weeks ago everything was working normally (size of KPI Card was the same as it is now and there was no need to scroll and numbers were normally sized). And the size of numbers is changing when filters are applied.

Thank you!!

Hey @Mst11 ,

The font size of the component basically adapts based on the space it has. So if there are more values in the KPI (e.g., 12.0 vs 77.6K €), the size automatically shrinks.

As for the scrolling, this is relatively normal. KPI cards need quite a bit of space to fit related KPIs / trends. I suggest making your KPI cards bigger (i.e., longer) so that you dont have to see the scroll bars.

If your View doesnt have enough space, you might wanna consider increasing the height of the View to compensate.

Hi @Jin ,

Thank you for your answer. It was my plan to increase the size of the KPI card but as I said to me it seems that there is some bug because the KPIs (numbers) were “acting” normally (font was smaller and with filtering it wouldn’t change).

But thank you anyway!

Hey @Mst11,

A couple of common considerations that might affect the way your KPIs act:

  1. Your component might have the “Exclude from user filtering” feature on. You can check this via the component settings, under “Interactions”.
  2. The calculation of the KPIs might be using a PU-function, which ignores filter selections. In these instances, you might want to consider using the FILTER_TO_NULL function in your calculations.

Hope this helps!

Otherwise, you’d probably have to open a ticket to get your issue diagnosed and solved (if its a bug).
