Question

Dear ,We have P2P implemented in Celonis, and we are migrating to S4 HANA, and I would like to understand the impact on data model , what happens to the existing tables, EBAN, BSEG, MSEG, EKKO...etc . will the extraction be then done from ACDOCA ?

Also, Is it possible to understand the impact on real time extractor , as it works on log tables, after the migration to S4HANA the current tables will become views, is it wise to implement real time extractor before the migration or after migration.

Hi Priyanka,

As per the Celonis Data Model, S4H for the P2P process are currently extracted from EBAN, BSEG, MSEG, EKKO...etc and not from ACDOCA.

So My assumption Migration to S4H should not have any impact on your current P2P Processes and Worst case if there are any tables missing or New tables to be added to Data Model. We may have to revisit the Program at the Transformation stage and tweak it accordingly!

Hope this helps!

Hi Priyanka, The tables between S/4 and SAP ECC are generally the same, but there are some differences, so it may be needed to modify the extractions, transformations and the data model accordingly. We have templates for S/4 in the app store, so you can cross check with them. So the connector cannot be reused. We have connectors published for S4 as well, so you will need to migrate to them. The data from SAP to Celonis will not be refreshed if the SAP system is not available. But Celonis itself will be up and running.
