1.) Why am I prompted to re-select the user column?
2.) Is there a way to permanently exclude null values within the PI Social component?
For question 2, I added a filter statement to the PI Social tab that seems to have worked.
FILTER "TABLE"."USER_ID" IS NOT NULL
I still need clarity on question 1.
