Setting up a OAuth 2.0 connection to SuccessFactors

yes, we are now in the process of connecting to SuccessFactors.

We have already received the credentials from IT department but we are also facing some issues with the creation of the custom extractor. Specifically, in setting up the oAuth2.0 Authentication.

Issue during test connection:

Connection test failed, please check the Data Connection's configuration and ensure that the system is running: Cannot read private key

We've encountered the exact problem.

ATM, we're using Basic as authentication - it works, but no one is too happy with that.

Maybe this works with you, too as a workaround/first step.

Hi both,

we do not support the OAuth2SAML 2.0 Bearer authentication type yet which is required by Successfactors, so you can only use it via Basic Auth at the moment.

The necessary capabilities to support this authentication method are already on our roadmap for Extractor Builder. We are planning to make this available by January.
