If yes, how can this be determined? The space size is required to be known as to discern if we’ll exceed APC space.

Only the underlying tables consume APC. Similarly also an Analysis does not consume APC but the data behind it is.
To be more specific even within the Vertica Database only the Tables consume APC and not the Views.
