Hey Joos,
Thank you for this feature request! We are currently developing on this topic, so keep an eye out for the change logs in the next few months, as we have internal and external use cases for this function.
Best Regards,
Benedict
Hello Benedict,
is there any progress on that topic. Creating a table with RANGE() is possible but I am not able to then calculate no. of cases per day or something. Everything is grouped by the starting date of the RANGE() function.
Best Regards,
Marie
Hi Marie,
up until now I havent heard any news.
But maybe I can help you otherwise!
Can you describe your task a little bit more in depth?
Regards,
Benedict
Hi Benedict,
it is the same use case as described by @joosbuijs I would like to have a chart which has one value for every day or hour (for example n.o. produced parts in a certain area) and if there is no value because we did not have an event during that day / hour I would like the chart going down to 0 and not cutting out the timeframe without events. Cutting out leads to miss interpretations. If we had a planned downtime for the weekend the chart would not visualize the break between friday and monday.

If we do not have Cases running over Activity Start on Saturdays and Sundays we are not able to create the 0 values or customize the x-axis. That leads to missunderstandings and missinterpretations of the data.
Hi,
I have a similar case. I would like see if one activity is periodic, treated by batch or if there is a campaign effect.
Then when you got the solution, let me know.
Thanks.
Fred
Hi everyone,
Im happy to announce that this feature is now available in the IBC.
We added the new RANGE_APPEND function, which takes a column and appends all values inside a given range with a given step size to that column. Just take a look at the corresponding page in the IBC documentation here: help.celonis.cloud/help/display/CIBC/RANGE_APPEND
Or check out the following example:

Great to read David!
Any idea if/whether this will also come to the on-premise version of Celonis? (and if so, in a SP or in 4.7?)
Cheers,
Joos
Hi Joos,
it will come to on-prem, and Im sure it will be included in the 4.7 release.
Best
David
Any more confirmation for the 4.7 inclusion? This feature is getting more and more important (/crucial) for us to provide clear insights.
Hi Joos,
yes, RANGE_APPEND will be available in the CPM4.7 release.
Cheers
David
Where are we with this? I'm surprised that this haven't been answered in 4 years.
